I was in Bradford, PA early on a Saturday morning. I was in the mood for a quality breakfast & coffee. I happened upon The Kennedy St. Cafè, and figured I’d give it a chance. Upon entering I was immediately struck by its down home small town vibe. You could just tell this is the restaurant that all the locals dine at. This was confirmed when a grandma & her grandson walk in, looked at me, then sat at the counter. They informed the waitress that “someone was at their table”. The interior reminded me of a small Pennsylvania coal or steel town. It was absolutely quaint & cozy for sure. Your seating options are going to be table or counter, I chose a table. My waitress was cordial & polite, bringing over my cup of coffee & taking my order. The menu is exactly what you think it is, good ol’ down home comfort foods. I got the bacon, cheese & mushroom omelet with home fries & sour dough toast. I watched as it was cooked on a nice big greasy grill, I swear it doesn’t get any better than that. My meal and coffee were great, loved the small town dinner vibe & my overall experience here was good. I strongly recommend this place if you’re ever in...

Just a good quality breakfast. Would have given four stores if it weren't for the things mentioned below

Came in for my gf and i’s traditional post camping weekend breakfast dine in. Place is cute, quaint, easy to find. Food was pretty good but also its kind of hard to mess up scrambled eggs and white toast (which is what we both ordered). Our waitress was super friendly, but she was running around like a madman in there with a 6 top and two 2 tops and her service really wasn’t super great. We left our card visible on the table for a long time and she walked by it quite a few times. Our bill was $28.50 and we tipped $5.00 and the waitress must not have known my gf was still in the bathroom because when she came out, she heard the waitress complaining about how much we tipped her. She missed out on $.70… if we’re ever back in Bradford (which is likely) we’ll probably look for a different...

Service is always fast and friendly and the food is very good. Value for what you pay is also a plus. Get there early as seating isn't huge. But definitely worth the wait if you do wait. Try the home cut fries. I've never had a bad experience there and will keep coming back for the old fashioned diner experience. Excellent for breakfast and lunch. Not open beyond 2pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays. But open early when they are open. It's downtown so you could eat there and explore downtown Bradford and all it has to offer. Very close to Historic City Hall. Take my advice, this is an experience you don't...

This place has dropped in food quality since changing ownership. I asked for a medium burger, and it was well done. The onion petals were overcooked. The staff is a bit rude. When your business is food service, the quality should be very good, and the staff's customer service should be orientated to providing a pleasing experience for the customer. This was my 3rd visit with the new owners. Each time showed a similar quality.

I enjoy finding nostalgic restaurants for breakfast. This was one. It took me back to the 1970s and having to sit ata a long permanent counter. I used to spin around, waiting for breakfast as a kid. The grill was right with us, and she fried away. The breakfast was good and consisted of eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. The potatoes were okay. It was a fun breakfast.
