I bought a Ford F250 around 2020. From this dealer. 6 months after owning the truck, i start noticing that when I hit a pothole at 50m an hour, the truck would shake like a seizure real bad, i took it back to sefner dealer and ask them to look at it, at that time, I didn't know what the hell it was, they basically brushed it off and told me it was nothing. Without diagnostic, I know a little mechanic. So I changed the upper and lower tyrod on the right side of the truck and steering dampener, where I felt the triggering was coming from. It temporarily fixed the problem. Fast forward February 3rd 2025 Monday. I took back my truck to gator Ford for them to have a look at it. Due to the fact I already researched and found out the problem was called death wobble. I had some good representatives that were helping me. I went there looking for guidance. I decided to pay for the diagnostic fee so they can really check the front end out. I was in an open area. A very pleasant lady was helping me with steering dampener parts. I saw one of the techs over to the right. It was an open area with no barricades, not in the mechanics working area. I walked over, like ten foot step away from the parts desk, i proceed to ask the tec a question abought the problem I'm having, there were like 3 men over that section, so I respectfully waited. Then, proceed to ask the tech a question. One of the guys that was, on the other side, I wasn't even talking to him, He yelled to me that I can't be there, and I need to leave in an aggressive disrespectful manner. I told him, "Oh, I didn't know that this was of limits." Note" it was an open area, so I said I just had a question and I didn't realize,I started stepping back, so the guy proceed to shoo me telling me to leave now. Note, it wasn't a working safety area, when I understand in every business, there are rules and regulations that need to be followed, So I calmly apologized, and I said, okay, I understand what you're saying and he kept on saying, move, go back over there. Even though I was already out. It was like passive aggressive, and I'm like, wow, this is a cultural thing they do to my self. So i stood my ground, told them they're disrespectful, and didn't need to come at me like that, i backed up and told them some words, ef off, and how disrespectful they were. I'm not saying I was right for using profanity either, The manager came out. We had a chat. I explained what happened. He said his approach was wrong to start out with. I mean, I couldn't believe how those guys were talking to me as a customer. I'm not an unentitled customer. I went there for help. To fix my truck. Respect is earned. , one of the guy proceed to jump over-the-counter to fight me. I'm not joking.Yes, one of the other guy held him back, But anyway, I will never go back to this dealer. My experience was horrible. It almost seems racial profiling.. As I am writing this review, I just got a call from the general manager, i already decided I wasn't gonna go back there. And the manager basically told me we can part business. I think this is...
Read moreDo not take your vehicle to gator ford for repairs.... I took 2 of my Forward F3 50s over there doolies.Because I read they were supposed to be the best.Which is an absolute joke.. The first time I went to get my white chuck.Analyzed and I have a after market warranty that I paid $5000.That's supposed to cover everything but gator Ford.Try to hit them for fifty thousand dollars. Now the warranty company wont-work with me because I have big tires on the truck that I bought when they were on the truck.I bought the truck like that. Then my black truck I put in for recalls only. Brandon, the guy who was supposed to be taking care of me, went out of his way to do my oil pants to do anything he can get. That was under warranty where he can get money for. Not what I requested and even forgot the damperr that shook the whole front of the truck when you hit a bump. So the first time you sent me away, thinking that I was secure. There was no oil in my truck. They had to take it back and put oil back in it.Cause I checked it at Service. Bay when I was leaving. Then when I took it back to get the dampener fixed so the truck wouldn't shake when it hit a bump all of a sudden, when I checked the fluids when I left.I had no radiator fluid in my truck at all. Looks like gator Ford sabotage's trucks. So the customer will not check it.Because they know they're not gonna do it. Their little sabotages destroys to Truck. So you have to bring it in for repair they're lying .To you. And you're bringing your truck back to them when they cause the damage. I have been on the phone with them and their manager.Gary told me specifically when I told him I was putting out reviews and exactly telling people what you did.He said he does not care about reviews.Don't matter to him at all. That is not a company you want to work with. They are thieves. How many times do I have to drive my truck all the way from Clearwater to Tampa?Because they keep messing up and they keep doing things to my truck. It is stuck on the side of the road right now because they did something that's killing the battery. All they have to say is bring it back up here. No, you thief..Do not go to gator Ford. You will be ripped off.Lie to and taken advanage off by the people in service.. And if I owned gator Ford that Gary guy who's supposed to run the whole department would be fired for challenging people. He cares not of anything about gator Ford and the reviews on the work that they do there. He doesn't...
Read moreAfter a few bad experiences at the other Ford dealership in town we decided to go to Gator Ford, as my wife's 2019 EcoSport needed service. The outside appearance is deceiving as there are mostly trucks, RVs and ?Hyundais? in the lot outside. The entrance is busy because there is a truck stop that uses the same entrance. Pulling into the dealership the parts and service departments are front and center. Parking was a bit scarce. I had made an appointment for the following day but we were dropping the vehicle off early like we normally do. We entered the service department and were quickly greeted and asked how we could be helped. We were informed that our service advisor was Angelo Mendez. When he arrived back at his desk he greeted us warmly. We introduced ourselves and explained why we were there. We went with Angelo outside to the car so he could check the mileage. He informed us of the pricing for the service and if it needed any additional services he would let us know before any work was performed. We elected to get an alignment before we left. The next morning I received a text and a call from Angelo giving us an update and he told me that he was sending me a video. The video was a complete walk around and explanation by the technician explaining what he saw and the state of the vehicle as he saw it. The tech continued that he would do the service agreed on and give Angelo any recommendations of any other services that may be needed. As it turns out, the other dealership didn't do many of the previously needed services that should have been done. Angelo called me and explained what was recommended and gave me a price for everything that should be done. We agreed to do the services. We got a call later that day and Angelo told us that everything was done and the price was a bit cheaper than expected. We told him we'd get it the next morning. We went in and had a wonderful conversation with Angelo. I told him that he reminded me strongly of a wonderful friend and brother of mine. Both him and I, having the belief in a higher power, believe that we were meant to meet and placed there for that ending. We don't have any other experience with Gator Ford besides Angelo, if the whole place is as personable, friendly and engaging as he is, we won't need to go anywhere else for our vehicle needs. Thank you so very much, Angelo. You are a bright light in what can be...
