The Paper Store — Local services in Branford

I am not one to complain, and I want to start off by saying that I enjoy being a customer of The Paper Store. I have purchased countless cards, and most recently a wedding planner for my future nuptials. I think that the merchandise at this store is classic and timeless, but my opinion has drastically changed due to today's incident. The female employee in the jewelry department was sarcastic, crass, and beyond impatient. I won't bore you with the logistics, but when my almost 90 year old grandmother tried to ask how much a necklace was, your employee was impatient and heartless as she turned to me and said, "what is it that she wants?" in a demeaning and callous tone. And when I explained which necklace my grandmother was referring to she said to me, "well these are obviously for sale and not on sale." My grandmother paid her no mind, but I did. I could careless if your employee disrespects me, but to chastise the elderly is vicious and vile. I went to your store before the holidays, and I had this particular cashier that was so outclass very unkind. I bought something and asked about cupones for Black Friday. She was so impatient that cut me off talking to the customer behind me. I thought is because of my intenticity, maybe because I’m from the big city and gay I wasn’t welcome! At that time I feel so unappreciated. Now I have to go back to the store to buy something special for my mom that she al ready pick up from one of your magazines and literally has cupones. I love to go to the Paper Store in Branford . Upon entering you see eye catching displays. I love to browse and always find something to buy for someone special. A hat for dad or that special coffee cup for a relative. There are many types of items to purchase: clothing; games; gifts for adults and children; Vera Bradley; soaps and candles; cards, a huge selection of Hallmark ornaments, gift bags; toys; books; writing supplies and much more.
