Am I one of the only customers that figured out that these people rip you off? I cannot believe their ratings are so high. I went to this store thinking it was still a Verizon location which it is not. It's TCC and a franchise. I'm not saying everybody there is deceptive, however, the person I had was. All I can say is beware of the hidden charges at this place. There was a set up charge of $30.00 which I wasn't aware of. There was a $35.00 charge which I was explained as part of the one time fee. That was explained so okay. Then there was another hidden charge of $30.00 annually for a Redux Water Protection in case your phone gets dropped in the water. Supposedly, they have a machine that absorbs the water out but it's only 70 % chance of being effective..that's unacceptable and I requested my money back. Then there was a $17.00 a month charge that wasn't explained to me that is added to your Verizon bill for some insurance called Verizon Mobile Protect. that was a total waste of money. I found that on my Verizon bill and was able to take that off. What this salesperson did was had me sign the tablet for the total charges and never reviewed the receipt which describes line by line all the charges. So when I got home I reviewed the receipt that was in the bag and I was outraged. I spoke with Josh and he was very nice and told me just to come in and they would reverse the charge. The next day I went back and the salesperson I had said that she couldn't reverse it...when I told her that Josh already told me that he would do it she took off the charge. She was not happy with me at all!!! When Verizon owned these stores it was pretty clear cut. You bought a new phone, they set it up, you understood what your monthly charges would be and that was it. This is deception and mis-representation. If you do buy a phone from these people I suggest you make them review your receipt line by line and don't leave until you do. I will deal with Verizon directly on line and never use one of these TCC...
Read moreIf I could give this store a zero I would. You have 1 or 2 guys their that are really top notch in what they do. Friendly, Knowledgeable, Professional, Etc. But the rest are complete Morons, especially the African dude. If I knew his name I would be more than happy to be more specific, but since I don't his description will have to be suffice. That guy couldn't be any dumber if he tried. Every time I go their his arrogance gets in the way of helping anyone. I then have to take the long ride to North Haven just to get simple things corrected, which they do an instant. This guy must be a corporate store reject and that's why he has no choice but to work at a TCC Verizon retailer. But damn it, can someone do something about this idiot he constantly costs me time and energy, even when I avoid him like the plague he will butt in and influence the other workers that work their to do a lousy job. Kylie told me I'm being rude because I asked him why he can't help me. My bills are inconsistent and wanted to know why and He actually told me that I m being rude for asking such a question. In this day and state of the art world, you tell a client they are rude is the worst experience anyone would go through. Verizon lacks deep training/culture/ professionalism is zero here! I ported from At & T to Verizon now I have regretted ! I would have to port back to AT & T. Very very unprofessional services rendered . No WONDER customers are leaving for other service providers. VERIZON has created such a bad reputation and management doesn't even care...
