One of the workers here Need work on there customer service skills. they charge me 250 for some medium size box braids down to my waist and an extra 20 just to half wash and blow dry my hair. I have really kinky hair.. when its not properly washed and dried so if you have the same quality hair make sure you wash your own hair before you come they expect for you to just obviously know there rules here when its your 1st time. they don't give detailed information. On what services there providing currently due to the pandemic. and what there not. So if you go there ask as many questions as possible or you will be stuck paying more money if you don't. or they will turn you around if your not prepared/ I was told that I would have been sent back out to wash my hair and come back but because I'm currently pregnant they didn't do that. not because its the middle of December and its cold out side but because I'm pregnant. So good luck if your not pregnant I hate to mention that both the ladies just kept trying to argue with me all because I was asking questions about services, and wanted to clarify what was being done to my hair. It took another customer in the store to try and explain to them what I was asking of them.. after all that time I finally got my hair done and it turned out nice thats why I gave only 2 stars but be looking to spend your money when you go in here.. maybe its because of the pandemic but the review I read about them trying to work with you... ummm.... not so much you might have to be a loyal customer for that treatment . 250 for a style that I had very similar to from another shop I paid only 160 even smh... and it was done a lot smaller than what I currently have. And they don't seem to care for your real hair just as long as what there trying to accomplish looks good. I made an appointment (*had to change it to 2:00pm) about a week or 2 prior to the above date, when I arrived at the location I originally found near me for the appointment I made I was told by the owner âyouâll have to can to my other location (at the address listed above.) though it would be an inconvenience to me I agree to travel. When I made it there around 2:30pm due to distance and traffic. I was left me sitting in the waiting area until 8:30pm, I was treated very poorly when the young woman that was asked to do my hair, then I was told i had to pay up front when there wasnât any posted to indicate that: âAll first time customers have to pay up front.â On top of this, they had other customers paying on their way out. My sister came along because she wanted her own hair done (and had her own money) was taken care of and done long before me, (without an appointment) the owner assumed I was paying for her hair when I clearly communicated that I was not because she had her own money. And she shouldâve been treated like a separate customer. The younger lady doing my hair said she wasnât going to be done with my hair until 1:00am-1:00am, I had to get up and go to work and 6:30am the next day, when I called the owner to explain my situation after sitting without my hair done for hours I was told it was my fault because I brought because I brought another person who wanted there hair done, and that they were waiting on me to change the hair style I wanted (which they had advertised) and someone else who was available wouldâve done my hair, this was all after I paid for my hair through Zelle, So I ended up paying $310 in total without getting, and I couldnât get my money back.    Read moreI picked this location because of the rating and because I couldn't make it to my regular stylish. Once I arrived I fell in love with the salon. Clean (this is very unusual for these salons) Organized and up to date. I spoke with Tabitha about getting my daughter's hair braid. She informed me that the lady that do the style of braids that my daughter wanted was doing another client's hair at the moment. I said okay and my daughter and I took a seat. Shortly after the lady that was going to do my daughter's hair came and asked me "I'm going to get my son from school and I will be back, is that okay?" I said okay that's fine. (being very understanding about the situation because I am a parent myself.) We set and set and set. I had my grand baby with me that started to get frustrated and sleepy. I was a bit upset and just got up and left. I believe it was Tabitha that ran out to see if I was coming back and to let me know that they didn't forget about us. I told her that I will be right back that I was taking my grand baby home to her parents. I returned back to the salon and the lady that I was told that could do the style of braids my daughter wanted had gone home.......WOW!!!! After I waited for her to go and pick up her son? So Tabitha informed me that some other lady that was still there could do them too. I was very disappointed with how the braids and the style turned out and so was my daughter.
