Both commissaries in the Kitsap area are rinky dink in size compared to those who have been to larger bases such as San Diego and Norfolk. They are definitely cheaper to shop at than the places out in town though so you almost have to shop there for the basic essentials. I had not been for a few years. It still amazes me the great prices vs civilian grocery stores. Simply cannot beat the prices of meats, vegetables, and pantry staples. Even going on a payday which is considered a bad day because of crowding and reduced stock, it was amazing. Super hanicap friendly. Plenty of staff. No long lines. Use your commissary benefits people....they cannot be beat. Still can't...

Love the new store "look", products and great prices! The fruits and vegetables department is a stunning site. They still have a great meat and freezer dept. Wild bird food and dog food.
