Taco Rock 29 — Restaurant in Florida

I never write reviews but for this place, I feel it is necessary! My mom and I have been coming here for over 5 years now and I can tell you it’s the best Mexican food In Pensacola. We have tried many items from chef Odette but our favorite is Burrito Verde, or the nachos. The pico de gallo is so fresh and delicious. This time we got chorizo nachos with no crema, and steak nachos with extra cheese and they were amazing! The food is always fresh and hot. We would eat here everyday if we could. I’ve read a few bad reviews for this place and they are ridiculous, we’ve never had a bad experience or any food that was less than perfect. We had a mistake once where something had crema on it when we said no crema, but we just took it off because she is not allergic but I’m sure they would replace it if we wanted with no problems. Odette is always sweet to her customers. We live across town and hope that one day there will be a closer location to us, but for now we don’t mind driving to Pensacola Blvd for them because it’s 100% worth it everytime. We will continue to come here for many more...

The very first authentic Mexican taqueria style restaurant in Pensacola! Loyal customer for over 28 years. The owner and daily operator of this taqueria is the Daughter of original owner and has worked there for 28 years! She is an outstanding person and her whole family work there daily! The food is prepared with love and care. Super hot because its cooked fresh to order. Made in-house. Everything I have ever eaten from Taco Rock on Hwy. 29 has been delicious and nourishing. Unfortunately they only offer drive-thru at this time but it is worth every effort to patronize this fine establishment.

SIDE NOTE: During COVID lockdowns 2020 Taco Rock 29 offered every kid a free taco or burrito lunch w/drink and NO adult purchase was required! If your kids were not getting fed at school then bring them (one or a car full) every day if you needed to and they would give each kid free lunch. I mention this because it shouldn't be forgotten; it was done out of free will and kindness. It was all God's grace through the good intentions of Taco Rock 29!...

FIRST OFF I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS JUST BC I’M LAZY but taco rock is worth it! Girlfran hooks me up every time. Best yellow corn tacos you will ever have everything is fresh. I eat here every wk sometimes up to 3x & seriously haven’t skipped a wk since I started working at a company 5 mins down the road almost 3 yrs ago obsessed is an understatement her beef is freshly ground there, the carne asada & chicken are to die for. Get their homemade like habanero hot salsa & I’ve had tacos in TX plenty of times Taco Rock 29 is still the best place, spice is life! She’s the sweetest she even remembers when I call she already knows it’s me getting lunch togo back to the office & what I like how I want it & even now will ask me during Lent (I gave up cheese) if I’m still not back to adding cheese to my tacos yet. She remembers everything it’s amazing & I’ve heard this from her other regulars too. Although, idk who is more regular than me honestly...
