D.D. Bullwinkel's Outdoors — Local services in Brevard

We were checking out Main Street in Brevard and happened upon D.D. Bullwinkel's Outdoors shop. What really surprised me was how big the place is inside! They have tastefully maximized the square footage with a spacious 2nd floor with an additional shopping area opposite "The Map Room"; a tap room complete with a generous amount of retro booth seating that runs the length of the interior front of the building. The 2nd floor allows you to walk the perimeter of the shop with the center section open to the first floor - so no worries getting separated from the group! And well-behaved canines are welcome, too! After perusing their exceptional stock of gear, I was impressed by not only their selection but their prices and ended up snagging a great deal on 2 shirts. D.D. Bullwinkel's Outdoors is a must visit...

I was in Brevard last month and bought a pair of Kuhl hiking pants at D.D’s and subsequently left them in a shop ( vintage ) across the street…. … the owners of Vintage realized this and brought the pants back to DD’s… when I got home ( Charleston) I realized this and chalk it up as I hope someone needed them More than me…. My daughter Jillian tracked down DD’s and they told her what had happened and that they were indeed returned… DD’s not only sent them to her, but did not charge postage…. I have to say with all the bad going on in the world, it is so refreshing that there are still honest- caring people….. I will never forget this and will Soon be patronizing DD’’ and vintage again…. Thank you and happy...
