My experiences at Brewster True Value have always turned out well. The workers are very helpful and friendly. If they don't have what you need, they will get it for you. We are lucky to have such a good hardware store in Brewster. It could be a small item or a large one. It doesn't matter, they go out of their way to help you. 10/18 They recently changed to Brewster Ace Hardware. Same good people. Same good service! I wrote this review 5 yrs ago and wanted to follow up on it. I am always amazed at the staff and merchandise at this particular Ace Hardware Store. They continue to be the most helpful and friendly people ever. I had help from the manager Jimmy and also Todd and Maddie. As always the "Baskins Ace Hardware" store never disappoints! Staffed with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people! They know most of the locals what they're trying to do! Even if sometimes they're a few dollars more than the big chains (home Depot and Lowes) it's worth it for the service you get and to shop local!
