Single worst service experience of my life. I brought my family (with a 5 and 9 yo) to have dinner there. Once we were seated we didn’t see wait staff for 25 minutes, not even to pour water, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t really have anyone actively covering our area. We put in our food and drink order all at once since we needed to get the kids to bed at something of a reasonable time. We didn’t get a drink menu beforehand and when I finally got one from the inattentive waiter I just decide to get a coke. 20 minutes go by and my kids finally get their drinks after the table next to us asked where their own drinks were. I never got my coke and eventually cancelled it. Another 15 minutes go by, and we finally get my 5yo’s chowder plus oysters for the rest. We finish that and then wait and wait and wait for the main course. Almost a hour later the rest of the food finally came out, too hot to eat, so definitely fresh, but also couldn’t eat and run. By the time we left (about 9:30, we packed most of the food to go), both kids were zombies and clearly not having a good time.

Never once were we checked on by the waiter while waiting besides right before our food came out to tell us that the chef was new. I asked to speak to the manager several times (which I’ve never done once before) and was told he’d be right over, but he never came. I eventually figured out that the “manager” was the “bartender” (not sure which was his real job since he seemed to suck at both) and had words with him. Rather than have a plan on how to make an angry customer mad, he asked me if there was anything he could do to make it better. Talk about amateur hour. I said no. Won’t...

A memorable visit (Aug 18th) for all the wrong reasons. I'll start by saying the food itself was very good.  Unfortunately, it was let down severely by inept service.   Family of 4 with 10 and 16yr old kids....10 mins to take order; 30 mins for drinks; 45mins for appetizers and 75mins from order time for main course.  Yes, it's vacation season, yes it's been difficult to get staff but these are tired excuses.  Manager/owners needs to understand if kitchen is over ran then tell staff not to seat customers.  If there are not enough servers,, please respectfully turn customers away or at least tell them so they are forewarned.  Not once did server apologize, not once did I see manager walk around to explain to waiting customers.   Other tables seems fine no doubt because they were drinking to ease the pain of waiting (BTW, my wife said her cocktail was wonderful!).  They clearly can do something right.....food and drink but it's imperative it's complimented with competent service.  Unfortunately,  this was not the case during our visit.  Frankly, the service warranted a 0% tip though I still gave the customary 15%  (I  hate doing this...15% should be earnt and not a given just because...

We were staying right next to the restaurant so we called to order take out but it went to voicemail. I called again and the person who answered the phone pretended they couldn’t hear me, probably because it was busy in there so I asked my husband to just walk over and order. I orders chicken picatta in case my picky daughter didn’t like her fish and chips which she did like and I’m glad she did because she would not have liked the picatta. It wasn’t served on pasta (my fault, I didn’t read the description) it had roasted potatoes and broccoli which I like but I would have preferred pasta and broccoli, the sauce was too loose and lacking the layer of wine, butter, caper, lemon and chicken stock and it looked like the chicken hadn’t been breaded. The fried calamari serving was very small but that ended up being less of a waste because they were very rubbery. My dad liked his haddock toscano my son ate his blackened salmon but didn’t particularly care for it and it was the same with my husband’s fisherman’s platter. There’s much better places on The Cape and places that are near by...

This review is more about the bar… I’m thrilled that after the long winter, this establishment is open. A fantastic restaurant with ample seating and staff, many areas to accommodate families, couples on dates, or groups, this establishment does a fine job with making each experience feel personal. As a cocktail connoisseur, I’m most delighted by the bar. The Coronarita was a pleasant surprise. It’s a well balanced margarita with a 7oz bottle of corona. This drink drew my attention when I was a bit skeptical of the menu, which could be improved by simply not calling everything on it a “martini.” The drinks and service are great though. With ideal lighting and a great selection of spirits, including some fine scotches, this bar actually feels like a bar for those who are looking for more than a family restaurant with a bar in it. The bartender (Caesar I think?) who has served me twice this week is friendly, professional & all around great while handling high volume. The host staff and servers are also welcoming. A good place to go to have a drink and strike up conversation with locals too

This was our first time dining here. It has a very nice homey, neighborhood atmosphere. The bar area was bustling and a good dining room crowd. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The bussing staff was on top of it. Never had to ask for water refills and empty/dirty dishes were promptly whisked away. We shared a bowl of the lobster bisque which was rich with flavor but light on lobster. The braised short ribs were good, very tender however, the ginger soy sauce was a bit over-powering. It was served with a round of rice, no vegetables. The two pieces of veal Milanese were on the dry side. It was topped with a few roasted asparagus spears and a tasty arugula mix. The tre leche cake was delicious. We felt that for the price it was on the higher side based upon the quantity of food served.

STOP YOUR GOOGLE SEACH AND HEAD HERE NOW!!!! The BEST dining experience I had here in Cape Cod. Jon was a phenomenal host with amazing recommendations. I had the seafood molcajete with scampi garlic and white wine sauce which took it another level!!! It was filled with huge scallops, lobster tail, shrimp, juicy mussels and clams with fresh perfectly cooked calamari, grilled peppers and onions and fresh cilantro. The Chef also included the chorizo sausage so I didn’t miss out on that experience from the classic Molcajete. It came with a side of fresh tortillas and white rice. I couldn’t decide between a margaritas or mojito so Jon recommended a special watermelon margaritas with fresh mint and a sugar rim…OMG SO REFRESHING! Ask for Jon!! Thank you again for such and amazing experience!!
