Georg's Ski Shop — Local services in Brian Head

I have no words to describe adequately the impeccable customer service my wife and I received at the store yesterday, Feb 20, 2022. We originally went into the store to rent cross country skis for my wife along with our six-year-old daughter. When we went in the morning they were extremely patient with our daughter, finding her the right size shoe and making sure she was comfortable on her first outing cross country skiing. They gave us advice on where we should go and even carried the equipment out to our car! When we returned almost at closing, there were so many people returning equipment rentals, however, they made it extremely painless and were so organized given the amount of people that were returning equipment. It took absolutely no time at all so we decided to attempt to find some ski boots for my wife, who has extremely thick calves and vein issues. Both the store owner and another associate, Trace, took their time with my wife, trying out multiple ski boots of different brands, even staying later than the closing time just so we would be taken care of. We live in Las Vegas and were returning back the next morning so we couldn’t come back in the morning. They could not have been more helpful and creative in trying to find the correct size boot. After trying multiple pairs of boots with the hard-working associate Trace, along with the business owner Georg, my wife was able to leave with a pair of ski boots! When I tell you the customer service was so good I would literally drive from Las Vegas to the store for my future ski and snowboard needs. We will always rent our ski equipment from this store as the prices are much cheaper than the Brian Head Resort and the quality of equipment is much better. As I told my wife, I have never been to any store anywhere where I have had such friendly, personalized service. Over the summer I was on vacation away from Cedar City where, impulsively, I bought a needed new pair of ski boots. When snow came I finally got to use them skiing. The boots hurt so badly I couldn't use them. I called the store where I bought the boots and was told to start cutting up the liner. I went into Georg's to see what could be done. After thoroughly checking the boots and liners they discovered there was a hidden manufactures defect in the liner. Then, even though Georg did not carry this brand of boot, Georg called the boot company and arranged for new liners to be express shipped to his store for me. The boots are now perfect and Georg didn't even charge me for all his hard work. I have also had experience with almost all of the staff and they are terrific.
