I really don't understand how this place has so many good reviews. My mom, daughter, and I ate here yesterday. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude. When they gave us our food, I asked him for some salsa for my burrito and he let out a big sigh before asking if I prefer red or green. I told him and then he pulled it out of the fridge by the counter and instead of handing it to me, he slammed it on the far end of the counter from where I was standing. When we left, I mistakenly dumped a plastic basket into the garbage...I didn't realize they were reusable. Maybe I should have, but they were pretty flimsy and I just didn't think about it. He had apparently been watching me because the second I did it, he shouted, "The baskets aren't garbage" and stormed over and got it out of the trash. Then he snatched the other tray out of my hands and said he would just do it. I'm guessing from his over the top reaction that it happens a lot... that's the only reason I can think of that it would have elicited such a response from him. He's sick of having to dig the baskets out of the trash maybe? So maybe they should have a sign by the garbage that the baskets are reusable? I guess maybe none of this sounds that bad, but you just had to be there. The intensity of his irritation was shocking. I don't leave reviews very often, but I couldn't believe how rude he was. He seemed angry that we were there.

I understand people have bad days, I've worked with the public and some days are rough....and I probably could have looked past his attitude if the food has been good, but it wasn't. I had a California burrito and it was pretty gross. Almost all the meat was inedible, it was nothing but fat and gristle, and the cheese inside the burrito was not just unmelted but literally cold. My mom ordered chicken tacos which were supposed to come with rice and beans, but she didn't get either and the guy was so short with us previously that she didn't want to bother asking for them. I tasted hers because I couldn't eat mine, and it was okay but the chicken was super dry.

I definitely would not recommend this place, will not be...

Really recommend this place! Their food gave us reason to return for a second night of take-out. Even in San Diego (I’m from) this would be a regular place I’d return to. All the burritos were Chipotle size (generous). The Bean & Cheese burrito was tasty and generous (made w/ lard so Vegetarians, enjoy something great for once but you are forewarned). The meat in the Carnitas Burrito tasted great, and was very generous (really good tortillas btw). The same goes for the Asada Burrito - generous meat (tasted great, only 2 joint pcs). My kid loved and ordered the Chicken Flautas Plate two nights in a row (generous serving). And finally the Chips and Guacamole on their own merit both tasted great and each generous in size, and $10.99 combined. I read some people complain about prices being $1-$2 more than city. Be realistic, the food across the board was great and a business in such a seasonal resort destination that doesn’t attract all that many skiers/tourists, has to find a way to survive. I can’t...

Christian the owner & team are very nice & helpful!

We got Carne Asada burritos & tacos & they are large & full of meat! I'm originally from San Diego, so it's hard to get good Mexican food, but this place was delicious. We also got the guacamole & chips & that was tastey. My parents got the carnita plate & Carne Asada plate. They are also picky with mex food & thought it was delicious!

The cost for the type & quantity of food is on point!

We also had a bad experience next door at the Pizzeria place & the owner was very rude to us cause he didn't want to allow our service dog. It was a horrible experience there so we went to Rosales & we were all welcomed. It turned our bad experience to a better one & we are glad we went there.

Thank you for the incredible hospitality & food! Milo, our service dog, appreciated it too.

Every time we go to Brian Head, we will be...

The guy at the counter wasn't rude, just dry. Maybe he's going through something. I asked him a few questions, and he answered a couple of them and the others he said I could look it up online. If he's there and works there and knows, I think he could answer them; I was the only person there after all. We got the Carne Asada Fries, and they looked really good, but the fries tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil, and the carne asada tasted a little old and dry. The good guacamole, sour cream, and pico made it edible, though. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had a good atmosphere. Between the customer service, the quality, and the price: I would recommend the pizza place next door. Also, don't go there with a big group because you can't move the tables.

Last week was my first time Skiing Brian Head (Great Skiing) and after spending all day on the mountain I had worked up an appetite. I'm from Vegas so I take for granted sometimes the endless food options we have here. Anyway, Rosales popped up in a food search as one of the places "near me" We ordered 5 combination plates, 2 asada, 1 three tacos and 2 cheese quesadilla combos. The asada plate came with 3 tortillas so IMO the only difference between the meat plates and the 3 tacos plate is that one is build your own and the other is already made for you (no difference in price). Overall, the food was good. The only real complaint I have is I wish they had spicier salsa. If I'm ever back up that way, I would eat there again.
