I rented a board to try before I bought a brand new one, and my only regret is talking myself out of it. Miguel helped me out by setting me up with a few different options, and the one I used was amazing. He also offered to help me set up my current bindings on a new board, so I could hit the slopes quick. Quick side note: I price checked with online, and the PRICES WERE THE SAME AS ONLINE.
Miguel also helped my bf, who is new to snowboarding, and answered all his questions/gave him some tips and tricks for his first time. Definitely helped him feel a little more confident.
Besides the rental shop, downstairs has everything you could possibly need. Beanies, goggles, snow gear, stickers, bags/backpacks, bathing suits, chains, you name it. Even oxygen if you're altitude sick! Prices are fair.

Read moreI went in to simply just ask if they had an extra strap for a binding that broke and after two minutes of walking around the store doing other tasks Im told "We have a box full of them but none of them will properly fit your board" which i found hard to believe because this wasn't my first rodeo with repair shops and broken bindings. It's no struggle to get a string of plastic with a few holes in it. So I (politely) questioned him because this is really no hard task, nor expensive. He got rude and raised his voice at me for essentially asking, "are you sure?" (you don't do that to customers) and basically just told me I should buy new bindings and that was my only option. So i went a mile or so down the road and got my bindings repaired beyond my expectations by people who actually knew what they were talking about and what they were doing. Not bothering with this...

Disrespectful demeanor and not willing to listen to me. Refused to even talk patiently and kindly with me. I was calm and composed during our exchange and yet the staff member was unwilling to even make eye contact with me and let me offer an explanation of why I wanted to return my item. Quite disappointed in lack of respect, empathy, and quality of customer service and actually felt hurt by the lack of kindness and care.
