We walked into the store looking to buy a patio cover. We walked out with a new patio set Instead. There were a few people in the store when we walked in and we didn’t wait long to initially speak to a rep. My fiancé and I needed to have a discussion about things and when we were ready, we had to wait almost 45 minutes to be helped. After back and forth we got our order finalized. A few days later the delivery came. Unfortunately I wasn’t home to inspect everything. Not only was one of the love seats damaged (it happens) but the chair was not delivered. That’s because it Was never ordered even though the salesman said everything was good. (My fault for not checking the order slip). So I contacted the store to advise of the damaged piece and the missing chair. They placed the order for the replacement seat and ordered the chair. A few more days goes by and the seat and chair were delivered. Only problem is the wrong love seat was delivered even though I explained which seat was damaged 5 times. I called the store about the issue and they say a new one will be delivered. A week goes by with no calls. My fiancé called to check the status and was told they spoke to me the day before and was told Friday morning the correct price would be there. I never received a call. So Friday morning I stay home but no delivery. I go to the store and find out there was no delivery scheduled to that day and the seat that was ordered was the wrong one, again. The correct piece was finally ordered and delivered the other day. I am never shopping at the Bridgewater location again.
EDIT: Regional manager called me within hours of this post. He was very apologetic for the issue and offered to make it right. ...
Read moreWe went to many stores plus online as well, to shop for new outside dining and conversation furniture for our large deck. Jake T. helped us earlier in the day, answered all our questions but I was not ready to buy. No pressure, left knowing he would help if we wanted him to - he was working until 7 and also sunday. After a few more places, one with “these are selling fast, I’d buy it now”… we decided to go back to Jake and compare sets. Jake was Fortunoffs as I used to shop there, answered every question, left us to decide, anyway… we purchased two sets. Cabriz dining and a conversation corner and umbrella w base. Backyard sale saved us $$.
Sale went well, let’s see how delivery and set up goes… I would hire Jake to support any picky demanding customer base. Andrew was helpful and...
Read moreI recently dropped by the Bridgewater store to shop for a new dining set for my deck. I was greeted by Kevin, a very pleasant young man eager to help. I told him what I wanted & had in mind. He brought me to that section of the store to show me what might fit, explained some differences, informed me of the current sales event & left me alone to make up my mind. Kevin used just the right touch of customer service: not too much but made sure I was informed. After I decided, he helped me pick the right umbrella, explaining the differences & worked at getting the best possible price, financing & quick delivery and set-up. The delivery came within a week & it was a white glove service beautifully handled. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience....
