My daughter thrived here at first and I loved it; slowly it all went downhill. It started off with her coming home with diaper rashes that she most definitely did not go with. there were a couple of times she came home with diaper rashes so bad U couldn't touch her down there to clean her or put her in bath water without her screaming bloody murder. Then it was the call to Division of Child & Family Services because she went to school with a stain on her clothes and a leaf in her hair; since when did playing outside with your child in the morning warrant a call to what was DYFS. I don't shove screens in her face so sorry. My daughter can be a handful, absolutely there is no denying that. But when they tell me they are going to be on board with potty training her and she comes home with not one wet panty or pair of pants I know they are doing nothing. And they told me she wasn't listening to them at all and There was a huge disconnect between her at school and at home. Finally, when I had to take her out because they decided she was not well behaved enough for them (even though she came home with bite marks from other students two times) I enrolled her in a different daycare. And low and behold she is now miraculously asking and using the potty. She listens and does what they ask her; she is not acting out or doing anything they said she did at The Learning Experience. This place suggested to me several times to get her evaluated for speech therapy and for behavioral problems. For the speech they almost laughed at the end of her evaluation and UI never got the second one. But I think they need to evaluate their staff and methods because it does not seem that my child was the problem. Now I cannot speak for all Leaming Experience's as they are not all the exact same, but I can speak for the one in Bridgewater, where she went because I have personal experience there and do not recommend it. Most teachers there like Joanna & Kirstin were wonderful, but some Teacher's there think that they are psychologists and want your child evaluated for just acting like a 3-year-old. When your 3-year-old comes home and tells you that the teachers are mean and they are picking on her almost every day when you pick her up, that means something. At least to me it does, and I try to listen to my daughter and respect her when she tells me things regardless of her age. I was looking for another place before they "suggested removing her" because something inside of me was telling me to an as a mother you always have to listen to your child and definitely to your instincts because you know what is best for your child. I am so happy things turned out the way did, and they do say that "everything happens for a reason" . I don't know their reasoning; I feel as if they targeted my child, and I am not the only one that thinks that. But to be honest my and her father's opinions are the only ones that mattered and now she is...
Read moreWe love TLE Bridgewater! Our daughter has been with TLE Bridgewater since she was 3 months old when they opened. We had been at another local daycare for a few weeks and had a horrible experience, so we knew what to look out for. From the moment we met the Owner, Deepali and saw the facility, we knew we were chosing the right place. Our daughter has been in infants, toddlers, and twaddlers, and will be moving to preppers soon. She has had the most wonderful and loving teachers along the way. She has learned so much from the alphabet, to basic sign language, her numbers, colors, and everything in between. She also gets to express herself through a variety of activities and free play, and practices important things like sharing, taking turns, and caring for friends. In addition she has learned other skills like cleaning up after playing/meals, putting on her coat, washing her hands, and they are working on potty training. She has made great little friends and we love hearing about the fun they have together each day. Our son has been at TLE Bridgewater since he was 4 months old and seems to really be enjoying the infant room. His teachers are so caring and attentive to his needs. They get him to finish all of his bottles (which is a struggle at home), they read to him, he does adorable art, plays lots on the floor mat, and explores a variety of sensory activities. He has made such progress with his motor skills and we cannot wait to see all he will learn with TLE. Their teachers capture so many smiles, fun moments, and educational experiences that we are able to see throughout the day through their app. Getting updates for diaper/nap/activities makes us miss them just a little less. Knowing they are in such good hands helps too. The admin team is simply wonderful under the leadership of Director Ranae. My babies love seeing them every day and so do we! They are great communicators, willing to work through any concerns, and are always planning fun things for the kids. My husband and I both work with children and I also oversee and train staff. With that, our standards are pretty high when it comes to childcare. Safety is their priority, so that with the mix of learning and fun make TLE an excellent childcare facility. TLE checks every box for us and we are so happy our babies have their little home away from home!
*Regarding COVID protocols - they are doing such a great job. From the screenings to keeping safety a priority we truly appreciate all they are doing. Our daughter started pre-pandemic so we were a bit nervous for our son to begin during this time, but he did so great at drop off and every...
Read moreI would never elect to write a review normally, however, in this instance and for the sake of another child, I felt the need to share to spare any parent thinking of sending their child here. After having a bad experience at another facility prior and expressing these concerns to the owner and staff, we felt confident that we would get a better experience this time around. We were mistaken for sure!! During our child's stay here, she had at least 3-4 different teachers. This would become the least of our problems considering that on numerous occasions I've personally witnessed teachers playing on their phones while "caring for children", a child walking around with a black eye and bruised forehead due to "falling" at this daycare on two separate days back-to-back, formula being left out for hours and then fed to babies, a child being left in a bouncer facing a bare wall as if he were in "time-out", teachers yelling at children and emergency doors being left wide open in rooms where children can crawl out of right onto the parking lot and route 22. In my instance and the reason for my child's termination at this facility, I noticed for the past 2 weeks my child coming home with scratches. I expressed my concerns to the owner and teachers on numerous occasions with no resolution to later find out that a teacher was purposely inflicting these scratches on my child out of spite towards me and my complaining.
To give credit where it is due and express the most gratitude, there was one teacher in particular that was quite frankly, the only reason why we stayed so long. Ms. Tanesha is a god sent to this facility and possibly the only teacher who cared at all about these children and not just a paycheck. She cared about every child in there as if they were her own and I am forever thankful for the way she cared for my child and looked out for her best interest.
The staff here is very young and inexperienced for the most part. To put it blatantly, if you can pass a background check, you can work for this facility. There is more concern for having a body to watch children then having a qualified employee. If you are considering enrolling your child in this daycare, I would strongly recommend shying away. Not only will you be putting your child at risk, but you will find the same dissatisfaction as I did. My heart goes out to the families and children who still belong here and I hope that this review reaches you all and any future...
