New to Lakewood Apartments in Bridgton, we made our residence in late November 2022 and found our neighbors to be very welcoming.
Our first winter back in Maine brought continuous snow. The Lakewood staff consistently communicated the day/times each building resident would need to move their vehicles for plowing purposes; the sidewalks always cleaned off and safe to walk on. Each building entrance is provided with a large covered hard plastic receptacle and hand shovel for both Maintenance and Residents to utilize. The snow contractors were always on top of removing snow from the parking lot and sidewalks; they also were friendly and professional. During one snow episode, with the wind exceeding 30+ MPH, and freezing cold temps, a table was set up outside along the driveway with Dunkin Donut coffee and donuts for all residents to partake in while moving vehicles to designated areas!
On three (3) occasions, I had to contact the Lakewood Staff for maintenance issues. In all cases, our requests were answered by Stephanie in a prompt, positive and professional manner with each resolved in a timely fashion.
Spring is here and new BBQ units have been placed outside next to each building for residents to cook on with an umbrella and table and chairs to sit on and enjoy your meal. There’s even a walking trail on the back side for all to enjoy.
The Lakewood Apartments location offers ease of travel to many of the amenities within the Town of Bridgton; all within 5-10 minutes to access. Banks, food and drug stores, gas stations, the local post office along with quaint shops and boutiques are some to mention. There’s a hospital in town with medical (both holistic and conventional), dental, as well as veterinary services available. Automotive, lumber and hardware stores and a car wash are close by too.
We really enjoy living in Lakewood Apartments…. a great place, great neighbors, staff and management are competent, organized and professional and, to top it off.....country living with beautiful lakes and ponds in a growing...
Read moreI lived at the apartments located behind the office building and I would have to highly recommend renting from Maine Eco Homes. Bridgton itself is a super cool up-and-coming town. Main street has super great restaurants and shops, and as an outdoorsy person, you can't beat being this close to Shawnee Peak, Sunday River, the White Mountains, and the lakes, all while being just an hour drive from Portland. The apartments are stunningly beautiful with modern appliances and technology, beautiful modern finishes, and high quality materials. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Anytime I had an issue that required maintenance work, staff responded promptly; I literally never had to wait more than an hour to get a response back from staff to set up a time for them to come work on the issue. As for cost, I am certain that if this apartment were located in Portland, rent would be a ridiculous amount. The cost of rent here is an absolute steal... very cost efficient and a fantastic place to live without having to pay thousands per month in rent.
It's not exactly easy taking on a young, first-time renter in a beautiful new apartment right below your professional office space, but the staff here at MEH welcomed me and made this place a...
Read moreWhat I appreciate most about living at Lakewood Apartments is that they genuinely care about their individual tenants and making the community an enjoyable place to live. They allow pets, have placed suggestion boxes in each building, have added outdoor grills, patio chairs, and cornhole boards since I’ve moved in, and have offered assistance during the pandemic including running to the store for grocery items and providing a free pizza delivery to your door in support of local restaurants. The property manager, Steve, is very responsive and thoughtful in his conversations with you, whether in person or through the online rent pay/community portal. He is often onsite (even though there is currently no onsite management office) overseeing landscaping/property projects, or just picking up random litter or pulling weeds. Since this is a new apartment complex they are still adding buildings and community amenities, and Steve is noticeably excited when he chats with you about them. The apartments themselves are well built and aesthetically pleasing. Always nice to have new, clean appliances, especially A/C and a washer/dryer right in your unit! The fact that it’s eco friendly is a...
