We’ve been here multiple times for random baked goods that have all been out of this world!!! Fresh, crisp outside, soft middle, perfect tear sourdough! The cinnamon buns 😚 🤌🏼 Kaiser rolls 🔥 bagels 🤤 but let me tell you about the EXTRAordinary nature of this bakery and its people………..my daughter’s birthday party was coming right up and I procrastinated on making a cake……I called at 8am and asked if there was anyway they could bust out a vanilla cake with strawberry frosting by 11:30am?!?!!!! Mariah said “let’s go!” And they did!!!!! And not only was it beautiful and fed 35 people, but it was the most delicious cake we ever had! So moist! So dense! Perfectly sweet (I’m not usually a cake fan bc of how sweet)! There was almost none leftover, but you better believe we ate it for breakfast and I did not feel bad about it!!!!! This family owned foodery is onto something big! Never have I tasted such love put into a simple baked good. I took one bite of a delicious looking biscuit.. and BAMM! A cresendo of flavor and texture suddently struck me. They slammed together obliterating my senses all at once. I found myself wisked away into an odyssey of pure, raw, emotion! My body became one with my spirit as I reached a new state of being. I faintly remember seeing the faces of my ancestors, standing over me, nodding in approvale. I then knew, I had finally fullfilled my task in this life. I was now welcomed too enter, the halls of my fathers. Without warning! I can't rave enough about this welcome addition to Bridgton. The couple who owns it are the sweetest, hardest working folk and the baked goods are legit. I especially appreciate that when most the town was out of power over this last Nor'Easter, they offered to bake peoples' pot pies for them inhouse- so cute. This town is honestly a bit hard to win over if you weren't born here, and somehow these two have done so effortlessly. Imho- in homage to Adams bakery OBM- the donuts here are still in stages of being perfected- BUT all of the baked breads, bagels, croissants, danishes, etc are the best you'll find in the state - I mean that. Maria brings old world recipes and dough starters to life and also isn't afraid to fusion it up on top of delivering Grandma's classics - that's what I love most...
