You know the feeling you get when you have an image in your mind about how a finished product is going to look? A lot of the time that finished product is amazing and beautiful, and you love it, but maybe it's not quite what you imagined. Klaus at A Jour Jewelry doesn't have that problem. A month ago I took my girlfriend in to talk about our thoughts on a design for an engagement ring. I picked the finished product up this afternoon, and I can say, without hyperbole that it is exactly the ring I imagined, and yet, somehow more. It's perfection. Klaus is friendly, insightful, and not only took the time to talk to us about our thoughts about our ring designs, but he also talked to us, and learned about us as a couple and as people and then took what he had learned of us to really make our engagement ring a true reflection of what we were asking for. My partner and I are not jeweler's. We did research to find things we liked, sure. but Klaus heard our thoughts and gave us what we wanted while also giving us what we really meant. I am beyond ecstatic with how my engagement ring came out, and I regret that I have to wait a few months before I can finally show the end result to my partner. My husband and I first went to Klaus at A Jour because we had a very bad experience at a large chain jewelry store. He took the stones from my original engagement and wedding band and created one beautiful ring that I wore for many years alone. I stumbled across a diamond tennis bracelet that I had not worn in years and once again returned to see Klaus. He took the diamonds and created 2 beautiful bands to complement the original piece he had made for me. I liked the fact he could use my old jewelry to create a modern unique ring that I will cherish forever. I referred my son to Klaus last Saturday for an engagement ring for his girlfriend. Once again Klaus did not disappoint he created a truly stunning ring for my son. He is a pleasure to work with. Klaus is one of the few jewelers left out there. True craftsmanship is a dying trade. He makes all of his own jewelry and works within your budget. I referred my son to him because I trust him and he always delivers a quality and durable piece of jewelry. My son and his new fiance will return to create truly stunning wedding bands when the time comes. Klaus will be our family jeweler for life. I will never purchase anything from a store at the mall. Update: had to bring my ring in for a little adjustment to the setting. Klaus backs his work and took care of it very quickly and even polished it up for me. He also did a repair on a ring that I inherited from my mother. It now looks as good as new. I would not go anywhere else for my jewlery. Klaus....you're the best!

After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to entrust Klaus with resetting my diamond which had fallen out of its setting that was designed by someone else years earlier. He took the time to go over options and helped me envision an adaptation to the original setting which would not only save me from starting from scratch, but make the diamond more secure. He sent me drawings of what he had mind and created a beautiful half bezel to compliment and enhance the stone. When I saw the final result in person, I was thrilled ,as it looked even more beautiful than it did in pictures. His timeline for completing the work was accurate and he kept me posted throughout the process.
