Classic Pizza - I am not one to post negatively about a local business, however, this experience was unacceptable.
Today, I placed an order for delivery, as they are the only local pizza shop open on Sundayโs. The food arrived a bit later and was clearly burnt. I called back to see if they could re-make and re-deliver, stating I was willing to wait.
The first call I placed, I was hung up on.
The second call I placed, was answered by a man who made it abundantly clear, he was the owner, Vochie. I explained the situation and was met with screaming and belittling comments. Vochie told me he has โbeen there for 40 yearsโ, โpizza has never left the building wrongโ, they would โblock my number to never accept calls from meโ, I could โorder from dominosโ, he โdid not need orders under $25โ etc. The yelling continued to the point that I could not get a word in and decided to head up to the store.
I understand everyone is busy and stressed during the holiday season, but for a local business owner to scream at a customer in that manner, is not acย ceptable.
To top things off, when I did arrive at the store with pizza, Vochie refused to come out to speak with me.

I called him back and he said he would go get it. I called to store to see whatโs going on and to cancel the order as I no longer trusted the food handed to me because of that. I was told another driver had been driving around with my order. Umm that doesnโt make sense. I am speaking to the manager whom tells me Iโm over reacting and my food will arrive in the time allotted. Well the time wasnโt an issue. It was trusting I was being handed food that wasnโt handed to another person in error. What a mess. This man then starts badgering me and tells me to basically pound sand and they will not cancel the order or issue any refunds. Oh my! Customer service is not even a thing at this place. Tried to make me feel like I was wrong. No sir Iโm sorry. I do not trust the food from there anymore. I do not recommend this...

I delivered for 10yrs as a living. I called and was told it would be about half an hour to get what I asked and paid for. I don't mind paying the delivery fee for the convenience of not leaving my house. However, as my food gets cold waiting it is upsetting. I drove to the restaurant and got what I asked for on my own because it was a heck of a lot quicker. I tip very well because I know what it takes. Food is still good and pretty consistent. Not sure I will order delivery again. Driver very courteous and polite as was staff when walked in. Just not a fan of paying delivery fees and still having to drive myself...
