Pio’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bristol

I had a great experience at Pio’s. I heard about this place because I love the sister location Pomodoro. The pizza at Pio’s is a solid 8.9/10. This is by far, some of the best pizza I’ve had in Rhode Island. I ordered both a regular cheese and a hot roni pizza. For a regular cheese pizza, I think it had a good amount of sauce and perfect amount of cheese. The undercarriage was a bit too crunchy for my taste, but the crust was really good. The hot roni was all around really good and the flavors all mixed really well. The appetizers I got were the arancini, fried ravioli, and garlic knots. All of them were great!!! Each one also came with a dipping sauce that paired really well with each dish. I also got the pizza wine which I think paired very well with the entire meal. First wk open I spent 45 min trying to call or go online to order. Gave up. Drove 5 miles to order a pizza the following wk. I was told 1 hr 20 min. Okay. This was at 5:30 Friday. OK. Did my errand came back in an hr. Told not yet. Waited the 20 min as told. After that they said not ready need another 20 min. Now it's 1hr 40 min. Girl at counter offered to refund my $ but what do you do after 1 hr 20 Waited then told another 20 min. They are backed up. Then told in the oven5 more min. After another 10 I was asked if they wanted to pull it early. No !!After 1 hr and 50 min I want it cooked. The dough was awful soo tough and raw on bottom. I search for good pies. Until they get their act together I will not return. Sorry...

You never know when someone’s going to be your first time customer do you? DoorDash said this should’ve been ready at 5:45, I walked checked in at 5:40 and joked with the server saying I know I’m early. She said we’re running 15 minutes late. I found that hard to believe because shouldn’t the website have been synced with their system?

I sat at the counter and waited them saw other people who came in after me getting their orders so at 6:10 I thought I should ask again. Everyone was saying what a busy night it was and how patient and good she was being. Aw.
