ALDI — Local services in Bristol

Hadn't been in the Bristol location in awhile as they were always out of stock on items I wanted. I was shocked today when we went in and couldn't get in the door as people all piled up at the already narrow and congested entrance to find they had moved things around which made no sense why they moved the super busy cold section with fruits/veggies next to the entrance where all the hot air is constantly streaming in making these food items susceptible to spoilage and bacteria growth. Not sure who came up with this idea thinking it would be better for traffic flow. As the wine, bread/cookies/crackers that's used to be by the door created less traffic congestion at the entrance. Not a fan of the self checkouts as always nasty & dirty. I liked some of the big brand new items added to the freezer section.

Please rethink your new floor layout then I might consider buying cold fruits &...

My first time visiting..I do like the chips are only a dollar and the bags are a good size bag..I picked up some bread and other things that are alot less then in the other stores... everything was in order and clean...not a store I would get all my things at for I do like alot of name brand things and this is not a store for that but did find some good buys... Myself I don't like the cart set up or the way they grabbed my things up and ran them so fast and tho them in the cart..I had my bags but he never waited for me to put them in a bag he would just give them a swing right down on top of each other in the cart...then off to the next person...and there you stand with a whole cart of food up side down every where. ..when I had bags I good put them in if he had gave me a little time as he was checking...

I absolutely love this store! It was my first time visiting, and I was unfamiliar with their "deposit a quarter into the buggy to release it" concept, but luckily someone had left a quarter in the buggy for the next person (you cannot use any other change besides a quarter). Otherwise, I was VERY pleased with not only the kind and helpful demeanor of the staff, but especially the great deals there! They have large DiGiorno-size pizzas for $1.19 and very nearly any kind of sliced cheese you could want for a buck and some change. I was able to purchase over 3 pounds of pork chops for $6.67 and their canned goods, especially canned meats, were incredibly inexpensive. If you're like my family and I and struggling financially with very little to work with, you're bound to find something that suits...
