Java Juice House — Restaurant in Bristol

I hate giving bad reviews but I come here sometimes twice a week. Today was Lee Hwy location. First item ordered açaí bowl. Açaí was not frozen. Bowl was made to wrong size. After seeing açaí was soupy decided to ask for a shake. They agreed no problem said açaí was just made and not frozen completely yet. Ordered Southern Belle disappointed again. It was a water consistency. Asked if that was normal as when I usually order it is not. They said no. We visited this place in December when it first opened and loved it. We were excited to visit again today, and were left disappointed. Ordered two smoothies that were OK. Also ordered avocado toast that was covered in so much tajin that it was inedible. (Tajin wasn’t listed as an ingredient on the menu, or we would have asked to have it left off). Also ordered a crepe that was more like a tortilla. It was very dry and crunchy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and gave us some good recommendations. I ended up getting the blue rain which was really good. They have a variety of smoothie choices some items that are more fruit centric and some with nut butters and protein powder. It was very clean inside and they also have some cool hammocks for seating. I will say that it was pretty cold inside (they have a large glass front that I’m sure makes it colder) all the staff was wearing coats/jackets too so it wasn’t just me lol.
