It's Gamestop, so gamers already know what to expect. Since every Gamestop follows one of 4 or 5 floorplans and standardized signage and merchandising, everything is fairly straightforward. Their pricing is fairly standard matching MSRP. Their Used games business model is a polarizing topic depending who you talk to, but at least they'll take anything, and I mean ANYTHING. Condition on used games can be spotty and must be carefully checked to see if it is in great condition or simply been glazed. Honestly I don't frequent Gamestop that often. WalMart, Target, BestBuy, G2K, not to mention Amazon/eBay have much more wonderfully volatile pricing that tends to get cheaper faster as the title ages shortly after release and I can also get other things unlike gamestop which is dedicated only to games. Gamestop does have the advantage of focus albeit their associates can be a little over-the-top when it comes to Console preferences. I will never do patronage with gamestop after my last visit to this location. There was only one rude, lazy employee working the floor who couldnt be bothered to answer a single simple question. The only other employee kept running to the back room any time you tried to approach. As we were looking to get both a new ps4 pro and xbox one x, along with 4-5 games a piece and they didn't want our business we went to G2K instead. I urge anyone reading this to got to G2K as well. I would give this place a half a star. Usually they are super friendly but the cashier named Armand was so rude to us when we brought games back to trade. He told us this isn’t Redbox we don’t just rent out games for you to bring them back. Then he proceeds to tells us that the games on the receipt didn’t match what we brought back. We told him yes they were and then we had to show him on the receipt what the games were. We always come here it’s convienient and they have always helped us out.
