RT-72 LIQUORS — Local services in Bristol

Stopped in to purchase a 4 pack from a local brewery and noticed the price was $2 higher than everywhere else. Also noticed a lot of the beer in stock were old and past their expiration date. I decided to just purchase the beer I wanted even though it was overpriced instead of going to a different store. When I paid the owner rings me out for $17.01 so I hand him a twenty and he asks if I have any change and I respond no. He then hands me back $2.50 so I ask where is the other .49 you owe me. His response was I dont have any change. So being a business owner I would have thought he would give the customer the .01 instead of trying to charge me even more for an item that already has an inflated price? I will never be shop here again and would advise anyone who is in need of a package store go somewhere else.

All of the prices are extremely higher than other liquor stores in the area and most of the stock is old and expired.

Don't bother with this place. Dude who was working was parked in their only handicapped space (which I needed) and the moment I went in he was on me like a hawk. When I tried to see what was in the walk-in cooler he refused me entry. I pointed out signs saying "watch your step" and "please wear a mask" and he claimed 'thats only for delivery people.' He bluntly said "just tell me what you want and I'll get it" and I said I haven't been here in years so I DON'T KNOW what he has and he just shrugged and said "oh well."

Very nice people! ALWAYS open and accommodating! Good selection of beer and wine. Not great but good. Usually a decent selection of bourbon but often over charges (McKenna MSRP $30 / Rt72. $60 - Weller 107 MSRP $35 / Rt72. $70) and at times you can find a better price on items than other places so just have to pick and choose what to get from there.
