The Forager — Local services in Bristol

After a busy morning answering back-to-back emails, I was absolutely starving and craving some really good bread—not the usual supermarket kind, but something special. I remembered this place was nearby and decided to give it a try.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with super friendly faces and warm smiles. The staff immediately asked what I was looking for, and when I said bread, they showed me a couple of options. I ended up choosing the sourdough, and while I was browsing, I couldn’t resist grabbing a couple of chocolate bars as well.

One thing I noticed was that they have tons of delicious pairings available in the store to go with their bread. However, since I’m vegan, I decided to go home and use my own favorite items. I paired the sourdough with some vegan cheese, butter, honey, and garlic balsamic, and it was absolutely heavenly.

The atmosphere in the store was such a breath of fresh air. It was the perfect little escape from the workday, giving me a few minutes to just relax and enjoy the moment.

When I got home, I couldn’t wait to dive into the bread, and it did not disappoint—it was delicious! I had to stop myself from devouring the whole loaf in one sitting. They also have tons of non-vegan options that looked equally amazing, making my stomach growl just thinking about them.

Overall, I’m thrilled with my experience here. The customer service was top-notch, and the quality of their products is fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back for more bread and to explore their other offerings. Highly...

I was in a family outing and my mom was SUPER excited to stop her like I mean she was extremely excited she’s been talking about it for awhile and we went in on Sunday August 24th and my mom shared how she was so happy and excited to be there and the lady who was working was extremely ignorant, I’m not a person to leave negative reviews I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but she was so rude it wasn’t like they were minutes away from closing we went during operating hours and the lady had completely ruined the experience, my mom asked for recommendations and the lady gave such an attitude and didn’t even get the recommendations all around rude for no reason. Amazing selection of different types of cheeses but their best kept secret is their sandwiches and ready to go salads! I had a beet salad that was out of this world with a sandwich I forgot the name of but was simply incredible! The bread was perfect hard outside but soft inside! Best seeded roll around! The pistachio on top was amazing! This isn’t my pic but this is the sandwich! It lives rent free in my mind. The employees were so helpful and patient with me while I decided which I wanted to choose. I wish I had asked their names, but I was so overwhelmed. I honestly forgot to.
