Buzaid Appliance — Local services in Brookfield

I had a pretty unimpressive experience with Buzaid. I remodeled a high end kitchen which included about $38k of new appliances which I purchased from Buzaid. I also used their installation service which was a few extra thousand.

Prior to installation Buzaid required me to send lots of pictures to make sure the utilities were in the correct positions which took a bunch of my time because they went back and forth on the locations. After all that when they came to install they didn't connect the water to the fridge or freezer correctly. Getting them to come back to fix it required me losing my temper with the owner, Norman, to do anything about it.

The downdraft for my cooktop never worked from the day they installed it. I've been calling Buzaid for 2 months. They almost never return phone calls. After months they set up a repair call which took weeks to schedule the tech to arrive. When he got here he knew nothing about the problem, had to order parts that he doesn't even know whether it will solve the problem. 2.5 months after install and I still don't have a working appliance. Do they care? Not one bit...they got paid already.

I also had to buy laundry appliances after this debacle and went to Best Buy instead. It was such an easier experience. Save your self the headache of dealing with these used car salesmen at Buzaid and get a company that stands behind their products and will make it right in a reasonable time frame that doesn't require the customer to make lots of phone calls. If things go smoothly, you'll love these guys friendly touch in the showroom. If things don't go right...buyer beware. I can...

Big thanks to Louis at Buzaid's in Brookfield, CT. We are building a home in another state and since there is so much activity there the local appliance stores have no showroom pieces and inventory is low. Really unacceptable. However, we have dealt w Buzaid's before when we lived in CT and since we were visiting we stopped into Brookfield that has ALL the brands, models and kitchen/laundy set-ups you need...high end to lower end, on the showroom floor AND the basement that is stocked with many more models and features. I told Louis right up front we couldn't purchase from them but really needed some help with specific brands and models. He was very welcoming and professional, took all the time we needed for showing and Q/A (and thanks to all the salespersons who didn't mind our grandson opening-closing doors and turning some of the knobs). We were able to see the exact models we wanted for comparison (and eventually purchased out of state) and Louis was very knowledgeable and even printed out some of the tech/spec info for us. Louis' help was much appreciated and really helped us make our choices on one of the more expensive, higher end brands, that was very helpful since we really needed to see these appliances in person before spending a lot of money. As a new home owner the tasks of replacing old, inefficient home appliances is more than a challenge when attempting to select the proper unit to be most affordable yet at the same time appropriate enough to fill my needs not only in the short term but, the long term as well. In search for an in wall A/C unit that would fit in place of one that had been from the 1980’s I combed through online sites and big box stores unsure of exactly the product that would suffice for my needs. It wasn’t until the recommendation of going to Buzaid Appliance that I felt I had a handle on finding the correct unit. John & Norman Sr. At the south street store were meticulous in helping me select the unit that could fit all my needs. Not only did this level of assistance swing my opinion of where I wanted to purchase or what I wanted to purchase but, the topper to the day was the price. John did a price comparison for me versus the big box retailers and the proof was in the pudding. I saved more than $100 over the big box stores price for the same unit. I would recommend Buzaid for anyone looking for the best products, prices and service and plan on coming back for all my future...
