I have visited and eaten at this "Little Bit Eatery" (seems they meant "Little Bite Eatery" becasue "bit" makes no sense in English but a "bite" to eat does). The woman who is usually at the register is very courteous and nice, and always welcoming. The food is creative and good, rather expensive, but certainly not so extraordinary I cannot find something similar, better or equal elsewhere. They always have the NEWSMAX channel on their TV (with the sound off, no subtitles), and I find that station among the most boring and biased that essentially promotes a political agenda. So, today I kindly asked the owner if he could "put on something a little more neutral." His harshly immediate response laughing at me was: "No! Because I am not on the other side. We can do business or argue!" I was not looking to argue or be impolite, but simply hoping he would courteously change the channel to News12 that has local news and weather or something else helpful to watch without sound, like The Weather Channel. When the sound is off with no subtitles, it is also difficult to follow. I was nice but this owner was happily rude and made me very uncomfortable. [See below his arrogant and condescending response to my truthful rendition of his conduct today.] I will simply now go and eat somewhere else where I do not feel visually imposed upon as I eat lunch and would rather not give my money to a propagandist. I certainly will tell everyone I can about the owner and how he feels about his customers, too. There are lots and lots of other great sandwich shops, restaurants, or Deli's in Brookfield where I can spend my money and feel welcome and respected as a customer. I live here and think people in all the restaurants are usually...
Read moreFirst off this is the best deli around. Also, since some people haven't figured out where their name comes from (you can find it by reading their website or menu), Little Bit Eatery is named that way they are because they have a little bit of everything, and they absolutely do. You cannot go to another deli around and get better quality food. Cheaper, sure, but you get what you pay for. No other deli has freshly made pulled pork (which is phenomenal), home made rice balls, chicken parm and empanadas on top of their top notch selection of hot and cold foods. Specials are top tier and creative. Auggie and his family are excellent and splendid people. Newsmax is on because that's what the owner wants. Newsmax it isn't fake propaganda like CNN or even the local news channels. If you don't like it, don't pay attention. The sound is off so they can listen to you order your food. I go to other places that have fake CNN on, and I just don't pay attention and can still give positive reviews. Give little bit a go, you won't be...
Read moreWent here based on a friends suggestion. Great little spot and alot of good things on their menu. Just ordered a tuna fish sandwich, but this was the best tuna fish I have eaten from various delis in the Danbury area. The roll was soft and very tasty. Don't know if they baked it themselves, but it was unlike the standard "hard rolls" that you get at any deli. They use white tuna, not chunk light and it was just like home made with celery... Comes with lettuce and tomato and they added pickle and roasted peppers at my request. HUGE sandwich, enough for 2 people and it was less than $4. Brought a few things to try out for dinner as well. This will be my new go to deli. Service was great and very friendly. ...
