If are a ice hockey goalie this store is a must. I visited this store for the first time with my son this past Sunday after being referred to the store by my son's goalie coach. The hour drive to get there was without a doubt worth the time. Infact, we met other customer there who were from even as far as New Jersey and New York. My son is a left handed goalie "full right", and we had found it impossible to find gloves for him. We found they had many different choices from multiple manufacturers and a large assortment of colors. Along with the overwhelming selection they had very competent staff who fitted my son with equipment. I have to mention that I myself was a goalie having gone to school on a full scholarship for hockey so when I say the staff is competent this means they really know their stuff. They are up to date with all the latest and greatest gear. They won't try to upsell you. They don't try to get you to buy more expensive gear nor do they try to get you to buy equipment that you don't need. They really care about our goalies and want them to be safe while being able to move freely. I also must tell you that their prices are great. They either meet or beat online prices. I checked the prices of all the equipment we bought and they were lower on all the pieces except one which was the same price as online. All the gear is genuine and not made in china knockoffs nor do they sell seconds, gear with defects. They do have high quality used gear there too if that is what you're looking to buy. So, with all that said, do yourself a favor. Don't waste your time running around looking for gear, just plan a trip to Wesco and ask for Nick the goalie or Doug the owner. Have fun shopping.

Read moreTruly one of the best customer experiences. It is one of those places you leave feeling like a valued customer who just supported a great business. So much so, I feel compelled to write my first review ever for a business. I went there last month as a mid 30 year old looking to reclaim old form playing goalie. The informed and pleasant staff fully outfitted me from head to toe in goalie gear. The pricing was really good and competitive compared to the other outlets I had researched. After about a month of playing competitively, I realized I had wanted something a different from my used leg pads - the owner Doug and staff were very accommodating in helping me pick something else out and not worrying too much about how much credit I was given from original purchase or if I had a receipts, etc... They just welcomed me in, and we all figured it out with relative ease. I walked out that second time with an even better experience, mainly because I was not pressured into buying anything I didn't want and my return was welcomed with no issues. Great job to Doug and the entire staff on my experience. You have my...
Read moreThis store is probably the best place to buy hockey/skating gear for kids especially toddlers under 4.
It is better than the store in Stamford. We went to Stamford Pure Hockey two weeks ago. It wasnât a bad experience but they didnât have sizes under Y10 or pads that fit little kids. We signed up for skating lessons and needed additional gears so we went to Wesco. The staff were phenomenal. They had a lot more options in different price ranges because at Stamford it went from $80 to $250 to $500 and beyond!
What stands out: -Wesco staff are so friendly -They offer both used and new gear! How great is it to buy skates that you can sell back to store for credit on new skates? How awesome is it to buy used items at a discount because everything adds up?! -They have a lot more offering from helmet colors (pink) to figure skating skates, little skates with Velcro (my god đ a lifesaver), and all the expensive high end professional one.
I will definitely come back here for all my skating gears for the kids. What a...
