You might miss this amazing gem since it is not visible from the road but it is worth turning around for if you miss the entrance. There are so many delicious flavors that that I often have three at a time! My current personal favorites are Dark Chocolate Noir Sorbetto, Gianduja Gelato, Strawberry Balsamic Sorbetto, Peach Crisp Gelato, Caramel Sea Salt, and the Amaretto Amaretti. My wife and I recently heard about Newbury Gelato, and we decided to try it this evening. What a find!!

We live very close to the Creamery in Newtown, and we are loyal fans of their incredible ice cream, but we have been looking for great gelato of the sort we got in Italy. Newbury is the genuine article. All of the 6 flavors we had between us were exquisite - full of flavor and the perfect texture.

The service was friendly, the seating area was tidy, and the portions were so generous that I should have gotten a smaller size. This gelato would have been a great value at 50% more expensive. If we could give them 6 stars, we would.

One of the best Gelato places we’ve been to so far and we tried many! They’ve got some unique delicious flavors. We tried fresh cream, Maine Blueberry and dark chocolate which wasn’t mentioned on the menu on their wall. This is hands down THE BEST DARK CHOCOLATE GELATO we’ve ever had! And we want it to be a permanent flavor that they offer. Their portion size is good and the lady who served us filled up the cup again after adding all scoops to make it a full large size and we didn’t ask for that. This is what good customer service is!
