I live in Tucker, GA and usually go to the Northlake Target. The Northlake location did not have the items I wanted but the Druid Hills location did. I spoke with an employee the day before at Northlake and they located what I wanted at Druid hills. I got busy and ended up going to the Druid Hills location the next day. I confirmed the items were still in stock by checking online before heading out there. I have mixed feelings about my experience.
I went to the beauty section and could not locate what I was looking for. I looked for an employee just to double check but didn't see any in the beauty area so I went near the self check out stations and asked Dee. I explained that the inventory showed it was there but I could not find it. I showed her a picture of the item I took a screenshot of on my phone, and that there was showing only one left. She said that if I couldn't find it then they probably didn't have it and didn't bother looking at my phone. I mentioned to her that I checked before driving there and was disappointed because I didn't want my trip to this Target to be wasted since there is a gas shortage in Georgia. She shrugged, apologized for my inconvenience and walked off. I went back to the hair color section and looked again.
I walked to the opposite side of the store looking for any employee who could be helpful and asked Jon G. He found the item I was looking for. The color I asked about was not available but he showed me the same brand in another color was and the section it could be found in. I went back to the beauty section for the 3rd time and found the product I was looking for. Even though it wasn't the color I came for, I was grateful for Jon G. being helpful and taking his time to locate the item and help me. Dee was on the same side of the beauty counter and wouldn't give me the time of day. She could have at least radioed someone else to help if she didn't have time or want to be bothered. I was in the right area but the product was smaller than I assumed it would be so the first couple of times I checked, I overlooked it. Also, her comment about the inventory was not true because, there were some there. What showed was in stock online was not (ORS Curls Unleashed Color Blast Hair Wax - Sangria color), and what showed was not there was actually in stock (ORS Curls Unleashed Color Blast Hair Wax - Golden Bars). None of this mattered because she didn't look at my phone, pull up the item, or even TRY to help.
On my way out, Dee was up front at the self check out and she asked me if I found what I was looking for, I did. No thanks to her. I was not impressed with her or that Target experience. I did not drive out there with this gas shortage for poor customer service. I understand not locating items for people who call over the phone, but for those customers who come to the store, this should not be the case. I want to thank Jon G for helping me find the items I did end...
Read moreI wish I had a choice about reviewing a specific sales person vs the Department itself. I went in to Target while I was in town yesterday. (I had come down on business from NC). I was hoping to find a decent selection of Verizon phones that is difficult in my rural area and shop at Target also. I met with an associate named Kayla, who was flabbergasted to find that there were 5 verizon phones, all but one that had been opened and just put back in the box. The one that was sealed and intact was one of the ones I had researched so I decided to choose it. Something about her made me choose to stick around and not walk away. She then struggled with the computer to input my information, with the signature pad, and with the printer...none of these issues were her fault. However, she was patient, engaged with me, did not even sweat or make flimsy excuses for what was happening. Her professionalism and persistence made me stay and not simply walk away from the deal. In short, your electronic department sucks-particularly when it comes to Verizon products, but Kayla was outstanding! Please do what you can to...
Read moreTHE WORST! I had the opportunity to interact with pharmacist WINTA at the CVS in Target 2400 North Druid Hills, her name was WINTA. Winta was not only rude, she was unprofessional, she was flippant and Arrogant. During my visit, she proceeded to help the customer in front of me, which mind you, we both had been waiting. The pharmacists indicated that she needed to make a call, which she then proceeded to do, then fill the RX, during which I waited for approximately 20 minutes. I asked if they could just grab my RX, and she was rude and stated that "she was helping the patient". Total time to grab my RX, maybe 2 minutes. Total time that I waited while the pharmacist made the phone call and the RX was filled in front of me - 20 minutes. When I asked, why they couldn't just pull my RX, the pharmacist acted in a manner that she was superior to anyone and was completely arrogant. And, when someone goes out of their way to be recognized, Then they should be. Winta has no business interacting...
