I popped in here after my tailor complained to me about people bringing him clothing from this chain. Fused linings vs canvased (for those unaware/not in the know, this is when they glue your suit lining. The lining is what helps give your suit or blazer its shape. Glued/Fused linings will break down and bubble over time), low quality materials, and cheap manufacturing techniques seem to dominate the aisles. I'd be shocked to find pick stitching in any of the armholes on any of the suits.
Their shoes are also not up to snuff. Synthetics and low-quality leather, glued together, and not a chance of a Goodyear welt being among them (this method makes the shoe easier to resole as well as making it more water resistant) and the inserts felt like they were made of cheap foam board.
The accessories weren't much to speak of. Matching tie and pocket square combos are never a good sign. I know it is in vogue to wear squares again and I have quite the collection that I make use of daily, but one's tie and square should not match but instead compliment each other. If one were just starting their sartorial on a budget (oh how I have been there) journey they could pick out a few of these and mix and match squares and ties though.
The location is less than desirable, the parking lot is more akin to a scaled down but topographically accurate map of Tibet, and the aisles are crammed with cheap ready to wear items. I will say that the store was clean and that the staff was incredibly friendly and inviting, and I don't feel that the contents of the store or the state of the lot are a reflection of its employees.
I will give the store points for having unique suits. There is a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns that are all rather alluring. As someone who doesn't generally tend to reach for your basic navy, charcoal, or blue suit I can appreciate this. The array of colors, patterns, and styles is quite impressive, and there are approximations of a lot higher quality suits standing out with striking aplomb. It's a refreshing change to see bold takes.
If you were buying for a young man who was going to outgrow whatever you purchased him within a few months to a year, this would be a solid place, but for the discerning male I'd...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI shop pretty regularly at K&G stores and I was very happy to see that there was one near me when I moved to my new home. However I went to the store twice and I have decided I would rather drive the 20 minutes to go to Roseville then drive 6 minutes to come here. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and at least try the store one more time before I wrote my review.
This store is clearly staffed by people who do not care about their job. The three employees that were working in the suit Department we're trying on suits themselves and just joking to each other. Using words that I will not repeat here because I do not find the "n" word appropriate in any circumstance.
While looking for clothes in the men's non-suit department I cannot find more than one pair of pants that fit me at a 36 w, I could however find sizes of 42 w and up in an abundance. I have never seen so many size 50w clothing in my life. This is after looking through numerous racks in multiple aisles. Everything is completely disorganized in the men's section because whoever shops there can't be bothered to put the item back on the rack where belongs. And the people that do work there clearly don't have the time to put it back themselves. While I was walking out the door to drive over to Roseville I couldn't help but notice that the cashier was on his phone sitting on the register table and listening to music without headphones. This place is a pit. I will...

The supervisor of this store is incredibly rude! She has absolutely no customer service skills! I had a dog in the car so I came in picked it clothing for my son to try on. I asked the lady at the register if there was somewhere I could set them for my son to come in and get them and try them on. She cleared an area for us at the end of the counter on a clothes rack. After he'd finished and came back to the car. I came back in to pay for them and was talked to very nasty about grabbing them off the rack. I informed her I had already discussed these clothes to be here with an employee. She tells me "I'm the supervisor and that rack ain't supposed to even be there" I mean, how could I morr tell her she "didn't have to be so rude" then I was told "not as rude as you are ma'am" Then she proceeded to tell me "I could leave because they don't need my business" I was going to spend hundreds of dollars in this store, however after her attitude I will never go in here again. I also just add all the suits and vests are sized in small, medium, large etc... I asked employees what size transfers from a 17 and they had no idea. Really? I will also make sure everyone passes...
