Tonight was the last time. Normally I expect something to be goofed up, totally fine as I normally order large amounts of food for a group of friends. Spicy instead of mild, whatever I roll with it. This time however I order just over $50 of food, got home, and when dispersing food found that I was missing two peoples whole meals.
After calling twice to have the phone continuously ring until just going silent, I caved and drove back. Get in line at the drive through and explain the situation to the guy through the speaker. He questioned my legitimacy, doubting I was missing all this food. I used to work in fast food, and work retail, I get people can try to abuse kindness, but it did bother me, as I wasn't even offered a receipt. I did however recall the exact total, and asked if they could look it up. Must've magically rang a bell as I was asked to pull forward. I get up to the window where the lady is accompanied with another, looking me and my car over, I overheard the lady I had seen prior saw to the other confirming I was there not too long ago. She asks if I'm the one missing the food, I say yes, and she closes the window to walk away. She comes back with my missing items and I request cocktail sauce to go with my shrimp. Again, no words, just closes the window and grabs them, comes back and hands them to me. I say thank you, she closes the window.
Ultimately I'm just over it. I've been passive for the mistakes made here, as in whole it's worth it. The behavior of the staff and attitude issues is what really grinds my gears. I get it, people lie, but not everyone does. Won't be coming here again, which is sad as they were our fallback for the...
Read moreI ordered in the Drive-Thru, and once paid, was told there would be a 3 minute wait for fresh Chicken! Excellent! Happy to wait for the fresh stuff. 2 minutes later the manager came to the window and said it would be 4 more minutes, and to pull around and someone would be right out with my order. Mildly less happy, (but still happy overall) I pulled around. I counted 9 cars come and go through the Drive-Thru and went inside after waiting 18 minutes. It was -11°, and I used the Drive-Thru so I would not have to get out, but that plan was clearly ruined. The manager inside was abrupt, rude, and unsympathetic to the idea that waiting was unreasonable. She offered to either give me my food or a refund. (I was 24 minutes since I paid, at this point) I took the food, and she was so rude about it. She gave me sarcasm and said 'I put extra in there for you'. I didn't want extra food, I wanted decent treatment. I said, as I was leaving that I didn't really mind waiting on occasion. I minded being told 3 minutes, waiting 2 minutes, then being told 4 minutes and someone would be right out, then coming inside at 18 minutes after ordering. I said just be honest. She said 'whatever, you got extra'.
She was also really, really rude to her employees.
In the end, this was my worst ever Popeyes experience and I will never visit this location again. The manager on duty on Sunday 1/19/19 around 8:30pm has zero business being the face of customer service of this business and is a poor leader of her staff. It was 31 minutes after my order time before I was able to leave the parking lot for an order of mashed potatoes and a 4 piece Fire Stick...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePulled into an EMPTY drive thru, spent a few minutes browsing the menu while ending a call. Drive thru still EMPTY, meaning not 1 soul behind me. Not even a vehicle approaching the place. So, I roll down my window to order and the man immediately starts berating me about holding up the (EMPTY) drive thur and not answering him because I was on the phone. He said āI said hello 3 times, you did not answer me because you were on your phone!ā I asked if he was going to let me order or continue to yell at me about being on the phone while looking at the menu. And I asked what the difference would have been if I asked him to wait, and why did it matter the drive thru was EMPTY. He continued to berate about holding up his EMPTY drive thru and said I canāt be on the phone in his drive thru holding up the line. So I BACKED out of the EMPTY drive thru and left. Seems like the order taker has some control issues because it definitely wasnāt about āholdingā up the drive thru the āEMPTYā and nonexistent line. It was actually scary how upset this man was about something so frivolous. Point of this review is, at this Popeyes, you better obey the order taker and answer immediately when he speaks. Iāll never recommend anyone to this place, a drive to any other location would be worth it to avoid an encounter with the control freak...
