Good Deals Furniture and Rugs — Local services in Brooklyn Park

I never, ever write reviews, especially negative ones, but the experience my wife and I had at this establishment was beyond reproach.

We purchased a bunk bed from "Deals" 6 weeks ago. It was not our favorite, but we are definitely on a tight budget, and in that respect they had a great deal. My children have used the bunk bed appropriately for the last 6 weeks. We do not allow horse play on the bunk bed. My wife was tucking my child into bed, bumped the safety rail, and the wood beam separated at the metal fastener leaving a hole in the bed rail. This break was not due to abuse or misuse of the product. This rail is placed as a hand hold, and should have lasted for years....not weeks.

Deals for Furniture and Rugs owner/manger (not sure) would not replace the broken piece. It was clearly a manufacture defect, but he wasn't willing to even attempt to make it right. He would not return the bunk bed, and he even wanted to charge us $32 to exchange it for a cheaper metal bunk frame. He was rude and kept insisting we were trying to rip him off.

Unbelievably rude service is how we were treated, and we still have a broken bunk bed and no resolution. So it may seem to be a good deal, but...

Horrible horrible customer service. We had refurnished our whole house (bedroom set, kitchen set, living room ect) from this place. Not even 6 months later are love seat developed a hole in it and we had it replaced. Not even 2 months later there is now 2 holes in the seams (you can tell it is manufactured poorly and the threading is not holding). We called the owner who first stated that he didn't "feel good" he would deal with the issue tomorrow and refused to answer any questions or concerns I had. After calling me back , he asked if we would be ok with coming in and maybe picking out a recliner to replace the loveseat so we don't have these issues again. I said that was perfectly fine. After coming in at 2PM the time he stated , he was not there and told his associates to tell us it would be about 20 min before he was back. Which ended up at a half hr. When the owner came in argued with us for almost 45 min that the damages are our fault and that we "pick" at our furniture :/ not sure who does that but sure. And the only way he agreed to replace our love seat with a recliner is when we signed an agreement that he will no longer help us with anything. Very horrible...

RUN!!! Disgraceful business that is money driven, once you have paid they treat you like dirt, delivery crew stained our carpet and damaged our walls on delivery. I called Q and he was in denial, I also found our couches to be damaged and torn.. his response was ‘that’s the last one’ and blamed me for tearing it when we moved it. Told us to bring it back to the store at our own cost. NO REFUND was ever offered, I was only told that they would offer I store credit. Don’t waste you time, quality is cheap and the headache you will have once you handed them the money is...
