It was my first time here, and I had high hopes for this place. Miyabi Grill puts you in mind for fast hibachi/Benihana type Cuisine. $30.66 for two Combo plates, shrimp and mushrooms, and the other was steak (they didn't ask how I wanted the steak-odd) and chicken, more rice than anything, w/no drink, and I ordered one extra rice. The Food was bland, with no Flavor without adding the Yum --Yum sauce. Yum-yum sauce was extra runny as it was sitting out for hours. The big Asian dude with a low bald fade back on the grill looked like he hated it there; there was no warm welcome for customers; they expect you to be a regular customer and know the menu; the rice was horrible, which I assume the rice was at least going to be great that’s why I ordered the extra rice. The rice seem very old/left over for a few days. The food is simple. It shouldn’t be hard to get it right. Please return to the drawing board with some great Hibachi food that tastes great. Not a fan!! I hope to return with new And approved Ingredients. I even support higher prices if the Food quality matches Hibachi's authentic style, Benihana’s, or Osaka's level of food expertise. I wish this small business a great success; please make it great so you can expand nationwide....

Not being from the area I searched Google and tried to find an Asian restaurant that would serve fresh quality food to go, so I thought I'd try this place.
I ordered the Vegetable Yaki. I was expecting something that wasn't swimming in oil, with some life left in the veggies (ya know, like a little crunch,) and noodles that had been fried / toasted instead of being over boiled and mushing apart and swimming in the same oil. I'll skip my thoughts on the "mayo" sauce.
To add to the thoughtlessness, it's all served up in single use plastic that will impact the environment for the next 300 years.
Like I said, I should have skipped the visit, as I re-tasted the oil coated mess for the next three hours.
Also, it would help on your Google listing to say you're located next to Cub, so I'm not guided by the maps app twisting and turning me through the parking lot dodging Cub shoppers walking to their front door.
Overall disappointed in my lunch choice. It was nothing like I remembered when I lived in Japan Town in San Francisco.

Read moreI spent $16 almost $20 on one plate and it was completely not worth it. The portion size was very small, paid extra for onions and it was not even noticeable if they did anything at all. This is my first and last time going. I was hoping it would be better with the pricing being so high. They could have at least filled the tray up. Sad. Also the food was extremely salty. I understand them cooking with soy sauce but it tasted like they use entirely too much. Also the broccoli seemed old or it was dehydrated and they tried to rehydrate it. It would have been nice for it to actually be a decent amount of vegetables in the stir fry but there was literally four pieces of broccoli two peas and I had to pay $2 just to get 12 pieces of onion. Also the chicken is very dry. I did not expect the chicken to be so dry! This had the potential to be so good and it was...
