Panda Express — Restaurant in Brooklyn Park

So I tried the Panda Express App for the first time to order since there was a promo for a free entree. I created a account and placed an order, I entered my zip code and choose the Panda Express at 7645 Jolly Ln since it was a block away from OfficeMax where I was shopping. I head over to Panda Express, there was some confusion with my order, end up I check my email and some how it stated that I have place an order at the Panda Express on 1520 Shingle Creek Crossing?!?! Feeling a little embarrass I start heading out the door to head over to the other store. But Tao, the manager I believe at the time, told me "Phil, since you are here already, do you wanna just grab the food here and save yourself a trip". I told him it's already paid for at the other store. He said don't worry about it and you could just grab it here if you like. Which I did. A friendly female server by the name of Zoua quickly got my order together and I was on my merry way!

I used to come here fairly often but now I rarely visit due to the poor speed of service. The food quality and portion size continues to be good, but food delivery services such as Doordash have ruined in-person ordering. I personally don't use any food delivery services so I can't speak on the reliably of ordering that way, but if you're on your way home from work, or want to stop by to grab some food over the weekend, expect to wait in line 30 minutes at the very least. The frustrating part is you'll see online orders come in after you've arrived and get prepared while you wait for service. Then you'll finally get your plate made and have to watch it sit there while they work on other online orders that just came in instead of ringing you up... It doesn't appear they are very short staffed, there have been at least 5-6 employees working each time I've gone. I don't want to appear to be complaining, if that's the most profitable thing for the store than so be it, but I highly advise not ordering in-person unless you have at a minimum 30 minutes to sit and wait while watching in-person orders get pushed to the bottom of the list...

The food is great but the portion sizes are very small I'm not sure who the server is at the counter but depending on the person he would either shortchange you on your food portions or give someone else more food portions I noticed this the last three times I've come to the store. Not quite sure why he is doing this but for the price you should be able to get the same portions each time that you come to the store. I know the last time I went I ordered orange chicken and Mandarin chicken and I watched the person in front of me get two pieces of chicken and when he served me I got one piece of chicken when I asked why he said this is the portion size. The person in front of me did not add extra to the meal and was charged the same price I was charged. I feel that they should treat each customer equally and not skimp on the food especially when I am paying, for the same meal as the next person in line.
