came in to get wedding programs printed. girl behind the desk at the copy & print center had an additude & told me i have to submit my order online because she's "going to charge me for each and every cut she makes". OK, that was fine with me, but when I asked her for a price she again told me the same thing, stating she won't be able to help me and I need to place my order online. I asked her to at least show me some paper color options so I know which to select online, she said "oh we don't have anything even close to kraft paper we only have white".... as I stood there and could see they definitely had an array of paper color choices other than white. I've been to other Staples stores an have felt pressured into buying something. Not sure if the gentleman's name was James or not but he was very professional and courteous. Gave me information that was needed to make a decision on the desk I needed. As a person who works in customer service and sales I feel he was excellent. Even though we couldn't find a desk to my liking the manager Mike stepped in and took the customer service to the next level and went looking in the back for a desk that wasn't on display and well in my budget. I always wonder how Staples is still in business with the rise of online options (especially when it’s cheaper). That is, until I need something like envelopes or printer ink immediately and Staples never disappoints. In the past 10 years that I’ve shopped here, this location has remained the same. They’re relatively clean, mostly stocked, and the customer service is also a bit slow no matter the time of day. Everyone is always friendly and professional, but they are going to take their time with each customer which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in our microwave society.
