Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Delaware

I honestly feel like because I'm black I was treated unfairly with poor customer service. The cashier (an older white woman with glasses) not only didn't provide me with a receipt but she also over charged me. Your commercial clearly advertised your single hamburger for four dollars and your double hamburger for five dollars. The cashier charged me six dollars, why was I over charged a dollar? I want my money back. Also, I witnessed the same older white cashier provide a young white male with an application. I also saw the now hiring sign at the register. However, when I asked for an application she told me there were no application in the store and I would have to apply On line. Then the young white male who was given an application turned his application in to her. Lastly, I ordered a strawberry sundae for my two year old daughter who was there with me. I asked after my order was placed for the sundae to not be made until after my daughter ate. However, the young white male who was also working behind the counter had already made the sundae, so when the cashier told him not to make the sundae it was already made, so he made a face like, are you serious I already made the sundae. I apologized. When I apologized he didn't even acknowledge my presence of respond to my apology, he ignored me. After my daughter had eaten I went to the counter & asked the older white women if my daughter's sundae could now be made. The white male who made the sundae didn't discard the sundae. He instead placed the sundae in the freezer& gave me the sundae out of the freezer that had melted & refroze. We shouldn't have been served that sundae it should've been remade. When he handed the sundae to her they both smiled at each other because they knew he had taken the ice cream from the freezer. Which tells me that they both knew what they were doing was wrong. They just thought they could get away with it. They both should be fired & I want my money back. I contacted corporate, hopefully they both...

So my boyfriend and I went here after our Valentine’s Day dinner reservation. We walk in and my boyfriend tried to approach the counter. I hung back a bit and I could hear the woman speaking to him. He has a confused look on his face so I quietly asked him what she had said. He tells me that she told him that she WANTED TO TAKE A SMOKE BREAK BUT WE WERE ALL STILL HERE. Who says that to a customer???! Then she also could not find a CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH blizzard on the register, the most basic blizzard they have!! Then all the employees kept reminding us repeatedly that the dining room closed at 9:30 like we didn’t understand the first time. The woman at the counter was SO RUDE and obviously thought we were dumb (I forgot to mention this!) because I paid with a gift card and it asked me to select the tender on my end and so I did and she immediately says: “oh you don’t have to tap anything”. My boyfriend says she did have to, it asked her to select for gift card. that woman clearly needs to be retrained! Service was not great at all, blizzards were excellent per usual! We’d come back but hopefully we wouldn’t have to see the counter...

AVOID UNLESS YOU LIKE WRONG ORDERS AND ICE COLD OLD FOOD

I almost never take food back or write negative reviews unless I am prompted to by something necessary.

This has been the 6th time IN A ROW that my order has bee either wrong or worse, and theu saved the best for last.

I visited this location at 9:30pm ordered my food went home thought all was good. My fried were ice cold not even warm, and usually I just eat it no biggie but this was BAD. so i move on to the burger and to start the bun is stale....then I take a bite and bit only is the patty dry and burn but it's cold. So cold the the cheese was cold on the burger. Didn't even melt. So I drive all the way back there to see no one even at the register. Had to scream HELLO to get help. Wait about 7 mins for them to make it again (which is fine because at least it was fresh). The manager didn't even offer to compensate me for there error and me driving back from my house.

UPDATE: the new fried were cold again....they didn't even make fresh ones. At this point it's funny and a bit sad really.
