If you're looking for authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious Mediterranean/Turkish cuisine, Istanbul Grill in Delaware is the place to go. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it only got better from there.

The food was simply perfect—every single bite was a celebration of rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and expert preparation. The kebabs were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the rice was fluffy and aromatic, and the freshly baked bread was the perfect complement to everything. The dips, especially the hummus and baba ghanoush, were smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even the salad was refreshing and well-dressed.

But what really made the experience stand out was the service. The man named Oguz was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and the customers' experience. He took the time to explain the dishes, make recommendations, and check in to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he truly cares and takes pride in what they serve.

The entire staff was also fantastic—very welcoming, professional, and kind. The service was fast, and everyone worked together seamlessly to make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

I was on the way to work and decided that I had driven by the restaurant enough times and I needed to try it.

I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and a slice of chocolate cheesecake. Why not, right?

I didn't have long, I was on the way to work and it was 1040 pm. They were winding down and cleaning up.

I had inquired about a gyro but they were out. I honestly didn't recognize most of the menu items so cheesesteak it is!

I walked out 10 minutes later with a heavy bag. Good sign. Everyone was friendly, tired and accommodating after what I'm sure was a long day.

I got to work and sat at my desk 10 minutes later and opened the box. Wow! A very good size sub stuffed with filling and fries! More than I'll eat.

I'm fussy about my cheesesteak sandwiches. This was, is, my new favorite!

The roll was toasted, I believe it was smoked as well. Excellent ratio of filling, meat, cheese and veggies. The seasonings were exceptional, and it wasn't too dry or wet. Veggies are done to perfection and not overcooked.

The fries were lightly coated and cooked spot on.

The cheesecake slice was pretty big for $5! It was the best take out of the month.

I have a new favorite cheesesteak!

I give it 1* because it's was the first time me ordering from here. I live across the street and been here a while but never ordered cause was worried of not liking it I never see cars outside so I thought I was bad but my suspicions was right its was horrible. I ordered the spicy chicken combo witch the chicken was burnt and tasted like they haven't changed the oil in months. And no flavor. I also ordered the cheese steak wich was ok, also ordered the chicken plater with rice. Also not so good the grill must of been also not cleaned., I also ordered wings wich was extremely hot and tasted straight like Chipotle. Could not eat at all. Everything was just so bad half the food was thrown away but never again will I order from here I really hate leaving reviews like this but when it's bad it's bad. I don't know why other people say it's the best and give it 5 stars. They really don't know what real good food taste like. Hope you guys improve for business cause if not it...
