We called on 3/18 to verify that they were selling live crawfish. They told me yes, $65 field run sack or $85 washed sack. Told us they open at 11:30, crawfish would be ready for pickup at noon. My husband shows up at noon and they tell him theyâre not there yet, may be another 30 minutes to an hour because they were running behind. I call 30 minutes later to make sure they were there before we head back from St Martinville for the second time. The guy tells me they arenât there yet, but they are on their way back from the spot now, so another half hour. My husband heads back there to pick up and all of a sudden the sacks are now $125 and they canât sell them to me for $85 even though thatâs the price they gave me not once, not twice, but THREE times. Thereâs someone in the back saying âwe donât know what the price is until they get here.â Well then you shouldnât give a price until they show up. I am beyond frustrated, burned so much gas going there TWICE and then now having to resort to going somewhere else. All I can say is make sure you reserve your sacks, which apparently you can do, but even after speaking to us 3 times and seeing us twice never told us that was an option. Garlic Oh dam it should be a side item.? 3rd I don't know who is boiling but they must be from up north because they were over boiled and if you are a late eater this is what you get. The sacks that are on the bottom and by the time they get to the pot they are smashed and dead . There's nothing wrong about eating dead crawfish but not dead for 4to8 hours in a day. I any body know about fishing, sacking and storing crawfish, knows that u r to do what?? I am from here was born here and will die here.
