I came here to use my Pampers reward which I claimed through the Pampers Club app. These rewards can only be used at select retailers, and Kroger is listed as one of them.
I presented the offer on my phone to the cashier. He told me he would have to check with guest services to see if it was okay for him to scan it off my phone. He came back and informed me that guest services declined to allow me to use the offer. I asked for a manager thinking that this person may know about the Kroger/Pampers partnership, and he called him over.
I explained to the manager what I was trying to do, showed him the app and the offer, and I informed him that this offer specifically states that it is mobile only and there was no option for me to get a paper coupon of it. Still, he still told me he cannot honor the coupon because they “can’t scan anything on the phones”. This immediately sounded ridiculous to me. I scanned my Kroger rewards card on my phone at the start of the transaction, and the card reader had an advertisement attached to it for some kind of card which depicted a mobile phone being shown with a barcode. I questioned the ad against the statement he had just made, and he told me “Kroger picks what we get to scan”. At this point I’m irritated. I asked him “So Kroger shouldn’t be listed as a selected retailer in this app then?” And he reiterated that he couldn’t scan anything on the phones.
I called Kroger customer service and told them everything that had happened, and the agent I spoke to on the phone didn’t have any answers for me either, though they did provide me with a $30 credit for the trouble. I will be contacting Pampers as well, but wanted to express here how displeased I am with Kroger and how their employees are unknowledgeable about this partnership. It made for a really embarrassing trip to the grocery store and an unnecessarily long line being that only two registers with...

Every time I come here, the Deli is always the worst experience. Only one person working and a line of people, many walking away.
Employees have a terrible attitude, but I imagine it's largely due to them being understaffed. What I can't excuse is their lack of food safety controls. Employees don't wear hair nets right and they touch non-food prep items while handling food (cross contamination).
On 12/08/2023, someone from their Instacart (delivery) service stole our groceries. We had to call to get a refund, but they were unable to replace the order, so we went back to the pickup service (for now). Needless to say we're questioning going back to this location.
Fall/2023: This is for online pickup. When we change the setting to not substitute on a given item, this location still does it without notifying us. Then, since the system doesn't show any substitutions on our order, we don't discover the wrong item until we've driven home. This has happened on several occasions, thus why I'm finally taking the time to write a bad review. I will say the manager of this department will do whatever she can to correct it, but they're only one person.
Those are my experiences and opinions, not yours, take it or...
Read moreI used to love coming to this store, it’s in a convenient spot close to home and work and had great deals and prices. As of lately, the shelves are never stocked, items are thrown around the store carelessly, and prices are just as high as every other store. The store is often dirty or have empty cases in the aisles from employees restocking and not throwing away the trash afterwards. The final straw came within the last 2 weeks though, as when I went shopping 2 weeks ago the only thing on my 15 item list they had in stock, despite everything on the list being listed as in stock online, was coffee. When I asked an employee for help he said “I don’t work here,” I profusely apologized and moved on, then he came out of the employee only section in the back of the store 5 minutes later after I had moved down a couple aisles. When I came here today to pick up my prescriptions after getting a text, the pharmacy drive through was closed. I don’t feel I should have to wait a half hour in line for my prescriptions, that were already ready for pick up. I sympathize for their lack of staff, but this store is going...
