I USE TO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNTIL NOW. ITS A VERY CLEAN STORE I WILL ADMIT THAT. I PURCHASED SOME CHICKEN THAT I WAS GOING TO GRILL THE FOLLOWING DAY SO I PLACED IT IN MY REFRIGERATOR. WHEN I OPENED THE BAG THE CHICKEN SMELLED VERY BAD. I BROUGHT THE CHICKEN TO EXPLAIN TO THE OWNERS BUT THEY WEREN'T THERE AND THE BUTCHER SAID HE COULDNT EXCHANGE IT BECAUSE I DIDN'T BRING IT BACK THE SAME DAY. I WENT AHEAD AND LEFT THE CHICKEN THERE. THEY WERE CLOSED BY THE TIME I TURNED ON MY GRILL. ANYWAYS I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE OWNER AND I GUESS HE GOT BOTHERED FROM WHAT I SAID. AND SIR YOU CAN KEEP THE 4 PIECES OF CHICKEN!!!! ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ITS ABOUT WHAT I BOUGHT FROM YOUR STORE. HAD I COOKED THAT CHICKEN AND THE POSSIBILITY OF ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS GETTING SICK. I was a frequent consumer of this meat market but today i had a very bad experience. I asked for a pack of meat for $35. When he was giving it to me I notest a 🪰fly in the chicken , I told hike that there was a fly 🪰 on the chicken he laughed and said it was only small raisin, making fun of the situation. I told him if he could change the chicken for onother flavored one because of the fly 🪰 on it and he said he couldn't that either I wanted it with a fly or not, in a rude manner disgusting people handling the meat. Lost a customer today, ill take my business to another...

They haven't failed my family with quality of meat they offer but of course the prices also reflect that lol. One thing we did however didn't see up to our standard was the cabrito. Cabrito should be quite young before they start eating grass (at least from our nuevo leon standards which my family grew up in). Here they sold older cabrito which changes the texture and flavor of the meat. Nothing wrong with it because I guess in this region they have another standard on cabrito.
