CPR Cell Phone Repair — Local services in Brownsville

I had a truly infuriating experience with CPR. I brought in my PS5 for what I thought would be a simple repair, only to have them keep it for four hours and then attempt to glue the fan connector back on without doing any actual soldering. When I learned they wanted to charge me $75 for this half-hearted attempt, I couldn’t believe it. No real work was done, yet they expected me to pay.

To top it off, Manager Rudy was condescending during our conversation. He tried to justify their incompetence by claiming that the repair I needed would cost around $300 anywhere else. I found a place that did it in just about an hour and for just $80 the very next day.

If they did not have the knowlege or tools to do the repair, I should have been told by the lady at the front desk before they took my console in.

Do yourself a favor and skip CPR. Explore non-franchised mom-and-pop stores instead; you’ll save time and money!

Outstanding service!!! I had an issue with my phone due to a crack on my screen by the phone’s speaker. I couldn’t hear the other person on the line, unless I put them on speaker due to the crack on my screen. Most of my experience was with the gentleman. He was very polite and explained everything throughly. Also, would repeat to reconfirm that the information would be entered correctly. There was also a lady. My 2 year old started to cry and she was very nice to offer him a cookie for him to relax a bit. Literally speaks volumes of her since she didn’t have too. Very nice of her part. At the end she also explained more about their company for me to understand a bit more. Their store as well was very neat and clean.! My phone was ready on the same day & around in a hour.! We showed up about this evening to get a simple screen replacement on my wife's phone. She was greeted by Julie, who was very kind and spritely. She listened attentively as my wife explained the problem with her phone. She gave us a time frame and got to work on it immediately. She hit a bump on the road that was out of her control, but came out and let us know that she was working on it and apologized. She was very communicative, letting us know periodically of her progress. The repair was finished thereafter and I have to say that she was really excited to have resolved our problem. It speaks alot to her character, and you genuinely feel that she loves her job and loves to help people. I would recommend going to see her for all of your phone...
