Ask for your receipt. I ordered tacos and did the math on what the order should cost the only unknown was the viria tacos so I went with the same price as the bistec for comparison. (It makes it strange they charge you and you never get a receipt.) So the numbers were off I gave her the money and I asked for a receipt. I guess she fired that I had done math in my head because as soon as she gave me the receipt she went into explanation mode as to why I had 6 tripa tacos charged to me as we did not have a single tripa taco. She goes to explain that the viria tacos are not on their system so they are charged as an order of tripa tacos funny thing is tacos are ordered by the taco and not by orders. We only had 5 viria tacos. It is just funny to me you never get a receipt so this visit I decided to do the math first to get an idea of the cost. Just imagine if they do this with just 1 out of every 10 orders charge you 1 taco extra. That is a lot of over the top money for items you did not...

The best tacos in Brownsville, sure over the years the tacos have gotten smaller but they still off a good amount of product they put inside the taco they are very generous .. the prices have gone up but that's due to the economy, no avoiding that anywhere.. Now the service is bare minimum of what is required to run a joint like this, probably friends of the family or years long employees way too comfortable with their tenure so don't expect much other than getting your food at the table with perhaps a welfare checkup if everything is alright with the order. That being said you'll get your food immediately Within a quick time frame which is awesome and always welcome. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, a little loud depending on the time of day, family friendly the floors are clean, along with the restrooms and hand sanitizer near the entrances, plenty of parking space with good parking for people with disabilities that have access to ramps and handle bars. I'm surprised tonight because most the time the food is great. However tonight it was horrible, the molleja was hard like a rock , my guess is that they cook the molleja and leave it on the plancha until someone orders that kind of taco. I ordered two molleja which I ate because I was being a sport and one barbacoa taco which I bit once and didn't finish cause it tasted odd. I'm not sure what happened to them tonight but it was horrible. Normally I don't say anything but tonight my wife accompanied me and it's one of her favorite places but I felt like she didn't enjoy her meal. If by possibility they've changed cooks, they might want to get the old ones back. I paid for our meal first and then I notified the ladies at the counter about the food and one asked me why I didn't have them replaced and honestly I don't do that because that sorta...
