Went in to buy a watch as a gift for my son who is getting out of the military after 6 years. First spoke with the manager in regard to the pricing and he was helpful and lowered the price for me. I mentioned I might have some items at home that I could bring in for to trade to help lower the price. I came back a few days later with the items and ended up dealing with the “assistant manager”. He had a terrible attitude to begin with. Extremely unprofessional. He proceeded to look up the items I brought in and after being negative about all three items, told me he would take one of the items for $30 and proceeded to tell me that they sell for $50 online. I trusted his word and said ok. While waiting I decided to look the item up for myself to find that they actually sell on eBay sold listings for ALOT more than he first told me. I mentioned this to him and he then changed his story and said he told me, yes the items sells for $100 or so. Which is not true, he DID NOT say that. Long story long, this was my first experience dealing with a pawn shop and it was not very good. I would suggest if you deal with that assistant manager, you do your due diligence in regard to what you have because he will not be honest in regard to actual value. Always a fair deal! People talking about being ripped off just don't know what the worth of their item truly is. They offer fair market value for gold and silver. Silver just isn't worth much without a brand like Tiffany or comparable, and proof of authenticity.
