Read moreWe went here tonight for the first time. I ordered a Philly sandwich with fries. I asked for no mushrooms. My daughter ordered the catfish dinner with Mac & cheese and fries. My other daughter got chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings. My grand daughter got the children's chicken tenders and fries.
Now I got my sandwich & it had mushrooms on it. I called the waitress over and she said "Ohh that was my fault, I forgot to put it on the ticket. Are you allergic?" I responded with "No but I'm not going to eat something I don't like and asked to not have on there." She seemed kinda surprises, walked away and grabbed a plate to take the sandwich.
By this time my daughter had taken a bite put if her catfish. She said it was disgusting. All it tasted like was river water. No seasonings what so ever. We called the waitress back over and she got the manager/owner, I'm not sure but he was the boss. By then I had gotten my "new" sandwich back but now all my green peppers and onions were not even cooked.
So when he came over we explained everything. He was nice and took her meal off but we explained the issues and said we probably would not be back.
I did also use the bathroom while I was there and it felt like I was in a middle schools bathroom. Tons of stupid stuff written across the walls and the sink was super short. The place could use a make over.
We were hoping that it was good but we...
Read moreI’m so sad that I have to give this place such a low rating. We stopped to eat here randomly expecting a home cooked country meal and were very disappointed. The food is very over priced for the quality. My boyfriend and I both got chicken fried steak and it was the worst we’ve ever had. It’s very obviously pre-breaded, frozen patties. Absolutely no flavor in any of the food. My green beans were 100% flavorless, it was like eating them out of the can. The mashed potatoes are instant and so low quality that they felt powdery in my mouth. And they serve boxed craft mac n cheese, which is good by itself, so I’m not sure how they also managed to make it taste like nothing?? There was only one server working the entire restaurant, so service was slow. Very obviously understaffed. Maybe their breakfast foods are better, but we won’t be back...
