If you're looking to order some fancy, over priced cup of coffee that requires multiple adjectives to describe it, this won't be a place for you. If you want to be transported however to a different time, where good old fashioned warmth and smile awaits you the moment you stepped in, and will be encourage to linger, then this place should be a stop whenever you're out and about on a weekend in this quaint spot in Bucks County, PA. There's no fancy milk frothing or your misspelled name written on your cup here. There are however earthenware proudly displayed on a wall that mimics a centuries old house facade, with a gentle trickle of water flowing from it's roof. Tastefully stacked crates holds the boxes of region specific sourced, small batch roasted, in house packaged coffee. There's a bar counter that invites you to perch on its cozy barstools while you listen to the master roaster's genuine enthusiasm as he describes how he came up with the concept, the actual forge roasting process, and the main regions in the world where their coffee beans comes from. He segues to the contraption that he made in order to achieve the desired roasting process and ultimately the flavor profiles of each batch of region specific coffee. The pizza oven looking opening behind the counter is not meant for a flattened dough with various toppings; the high heat it produces is utilized in order to penetrate the inside of the beans being roasted so as to bring out the distinct flavor profile. Hints of Caramel, Citrus, Blueberries ( yes, blueberries) awakens your taste buds and olfactory senses. When you enter this place, immediately to your left a trio of aptly labeled pots awaits you to sample the day's brewed batch of region specific coffee. Once you picked a desired region to enjoy the owners will gladly hand you a cup for you to fill ( I highly encourage drinking it black in order to savor the full profile of the coffee beans). The idea of this place is to bring forth the old fashioned way of doing things...to make patrons appreciate what they came for, and walk out with more than just a cup or a box of forge roasted coffee. The concept of sharing knowledge about a core product, and showing the craft that exudes passion and a desire to share it is what ultimately impressed me. Roger and Cheryl you have a gem of a place there...flickering lanterns, Fairy doors and all. 😄

Stumbled into this tucked away roastery and had no expectations. Ended up trying a few samples and bought a bag of their ASIA whole bean. Well. My wife and I audibly gasped during our first double shot of espresso pour. This coffee is CREAMY. Like liquid gold level crema. Like heaven in a cup. I make a double shot espresso latte every single day and this coffee has blown my mind. Smooth, super low acid, full of flavor, unbelievably velvety. I can't really compare it to any other bean we've tried...this roastery has forever ruined other coffee for me 😂 What an absolute surprise this place is. I can't wait to come back and stock up. Update: Now on my 6th purchase. I can't drink any other coffee. This might be the best coffee in the entire world.

We stumbled on this amazing new coffee experience right on the outskirts of Peddler’s Village. It’s technically not part of the village, but it’s definitely noticeable when you walk through that part of the village. The atmosphere is so beautiful and the owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the process of making the most amazing coffee. The owners wife took her time and explained the process of how her husband takes these beans from different countries and fire roasts them in this creative hot oven. We even were offered to sample the different coffees prior to buying. The owners also informed us of the variety of coffees they create during the colder months of the year. I cannot wait to come back!

If I were able to give more than five stars, I would--this place is amazing! I had heard about this roastery through customers and coworkers. After stopping in the first time, I've been back every weekend since! Not only is it the most affordable coffee in the entire village, but the atmosphere is simply astounding! It is one hundred and fifty percent the most unique and inviting coffee shop I have ever been in. I myself am a big fan of the rennaisance era, and it's not something that's really seen in the lahaska area. The owners are some of the friendliest, passionate people, they truly care about the drinks they are making, unlike some places in the village. I have been recommending this shop to anyone and everyone that asks, it's truly something one must experience for themselves!

I certainly recommend stopping in, you won't...
