Worst Candy Ever—And a Side of Unwanted Politics? No Thanks.

Let me start by saying this was hands down the worst candy I’ve ever had the misfortune of buying. I picked up a few items recently, and not only were they stale and borderline chewy like they’d been sitting out for months, but two of them smelled like someone had dunked the packaging in cheap perfume or left it next to a bottle of laundry detergent. I’m talking full-on chemical stench—and yes, the candy tasted like it too. Disgusting.

But the bad experience didn’t stop there. Out of sheer curiosity (and regret), I checked out the business's social media—and wow. Not only does she promote this low-effort, poorly made junk, but she’s also decided to turn her candy page into a political soapbox. Why anyone would think it’s a good idea to shove Democratic talking points and virtue signaling down people’s throats while trying to sell candy is beyond me. Newsflash: most people just want a treat, not a lecture. I’m all for free speech, but mixing your personal politics into your brand—especially when it’s this obnoxiously preachy—is a massive turn-off.

It blows my mind that this business is still afloat. Between the perfume-flavored candy and the nonstop political nonsense on her page, it’s a total mess. If I wanted a headache and a lecture with my candy, I’d go to a bad dinner party—not spend my hard-earned money here. Never again. Plus I don't know who the guy is that hangs out but if you're going to carry a gun in the back of your waistband at least keep it hidden My kids didn't need to see that when looking at candy....

UPDATE! The man in question is actually a police officer. This makes it even worse. You don't carry a gun like that sir You have a holster. The thing was an inch from falling out of your waistband and possibly going off knowing you you probably carry it loaded and cocked and ready...

I absolutely love this company! They consistently deliver top-tier freeze-dried products that are truly unique—offering nostalgic, creative treats that no other brand has attempted. When I was looking for a candy that brought back childhood memories, they exceeded my expectations. The quality is always a 10/10, and even if a flavor isn't my personal favorite, the team is incredibly receptive to feedback and always goes the extra mile. If you're looking for amazing candy made by genuine, passionate people, this is the best candy shop out there!

I’ve never had any issues with this business. They’re always on top of things and clearly work hard at what they do. I’ve bought from them many times and will continue to do so, regardless of what others may say. If someone had a concern, they could have called and addressed it directly instead of posting here.
