Cragg's Do It Best Lumber & Home Center — Local services in Bulverde

I went in there today cuz Home Depot was almost completely out of all PVC stuff. So I headed over to Craggs to see if they had any but not much luck there either. What I did quickly notice is they had a lot of stuff price cheaper than Home Depot. I didn't end up buying any Plumbing stuff but I spent about 50 bucks on other stuff. I've been trying to get a key made but at Home Depot I wait and wait and nobody shows up at the kiosk. at Craig's I got a key maker right there by the register and the guy had it for me in minutes. I also been looking for one of those big straw hats to wear out in the hot sun. every summer I usually pay 15 to $25 for one Craggs had it for less than $8. So I haven't been in that place in 20 years or so since they built Home Depot I don't really remember. I'll definitely be swinging by...

Went there to get a price on a roll of field fence and 5' t-posts, was greeted by a friendly young man (early 20's) who asked what he could help me with and I said I was looking for a roll of field fence and some t-posts so he got out a book and told me what he had, so I asked for the price and he told me, although he seemed a little put off that I would ask. And because I had just started to compare prices I thanked him and told him I was doing some checking around, Well with that he exclaimed "Fine" and slammed the book close and then walked away. What can I say with employees like that I wont be doing business...

I stopped in today for an item everyone is out of . Matt was very helpful even though his store didn't have what I wanted. He was extremely polite and explained to me that the item I wanted had been on back order for sometime , but he was hoping to have some soon. Instead of just letting walk out, he suggested an alternate direction which I didn't take, but after having stopped at 4 different retailers, he was the only person who tried to help me resolve my issue....
