We arrived at approximately 8:05 p.m. the restaurant closes at 9:00 we were greeted at the door on the Indian side of the restaurant and asked if we came for Indian food we told them we did indeed come for Indian food and they told us the kitchen had already cleaned up and they'd need to check with the chef they came back and asked us to stay seated they would serve us we told them we could come back another time but they insisted we stay we ordered the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken and a two-piece vegetarian samosa the food was mid High tasty but the rice was broken apart and gummy the presentation Was mid to low No Fresh garnish Or vegetables provided When we asked for a side of naan bread they said they were out of Bread this looks like a family-run business and I truly hope they are successful but in order to be successful you need to be open and ready to serve your clients with enthusiasm while the restaurant was clean the food portions were rather small for the prices we ended up paying a total of 50 bucks we both left feeling somewhat dejected as the entire dinner it seemed as if we were not wanted there as people were hustling around us cleaning and preparing to clothes shop when we finally finished our meal at around 8:35 p.m. we had to get up from our table and find someone to check us out after a few people and some discussions they figured out what our order was and we were able to close our table and leave this was a subpar experience at best we probably should have known better as we were the only people in either side of the restaurant both the Indian and the Thai...
Read moreFood smelled like motor oil. The waitress and manager were rude and rushed us to order. When we ordered my sister asked for shrimp to come with her entree but they brought chicken, which isn’t a big deal. When my sister brought to her attention that she ordered shrimp, the waitress gave a horrible attitude and kept telling my sister she never asked for shrimp. I remember hearing my sister asking for her entree to come with shrimp twice. She said, “can I have the bon noodle soup with shrimp” the waitress didn’t hear her say “with shrimp” so, the waitress asked “chicken or shrimp” my sister said again “shrimp”. I remember hearing one syllable from her saying “shrimp” not two syllables that would’ve been heard if she said chicken. Is it that hard to apologize for the misunderstanding and have the kitchen remake it? We’re looking to move to the area soon but will never go back here. The staff is disgustingly rude, the manager didn’t even bother to apologize for his staff. In fact after expressing our honest experience on here the manager responded to my sister insisting she ordered chicken when she did not, instead of just giving an...
Read moreMy husband and I were so excited to have an Indian restaurant so close to home. After we ate there, we were even more excited. The food was absolutely delicious, as in not letting even the tiniest bit of sauce, go to waste. I understand the first week was a bit rough with a chef that didn’t live up to expectations. The restaurant closed down for a week and re-opened with a different chef—two of them, in fact— revamped the menu, and did some rearranging. So please don’t be influenced by any negative reviews from their first week. My husband and I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to, and we’ve been to more than our fair share. As it’s so close to home, it will become our go-to for Indian food. In fact, we’ve already decided to work our way through the menu, though the mango curry chicken and korma chicken were excellent first choices. When you go, be sure to order some naan. You will need it to sop up the very last of the...
