Just had the most DISGUSTING THING happen to me here. My boyfriend and i are out shopping the thrift stores/ antique stores along magnolia because im in need of new furniture and decoration for my new apartment. We were browsing for less than 5 minutes before i feel a hand on my should and i got freaked out by the dolls in a certain section of the store and told my boyfriend and this weird lady starts telling me about how she was so upset she just had someone steal a scarf and she always knows when people are stealing. Then tried to play it off like she wasnt insinuting that by bringing up my boyfriends tattoos. But walked away and started talking about theifs in the store. I was really interested in a little nightstand outside to re-stain and put a cute handle on but i will NEVER be back and warn everyone else...

Read moreThis place is dense, but a veritable treasure trove. We walked in on a Sunday evening and asked how much longer they were open. The proprietor said "we're closing, but it takes me some time, please come on in!" So friendly, so welcoming.
So we didn't take too much time exploring every nook and cranny - but you absolutely could. Everywhere you turn, there is something interesting from some different era.
