Just had the most DISGUSTING THING happen to me here. My boyfriend and i are out shopping the thrift stores/ antique stores along magnolia because im in need of new furniture and decoration for my new apartment. We were browsing for less than 5 minutes before i feel a hand on my should and i got freaked out by the dolls in a certain section of the store and told my boyfriend and this weird lady starts telling me about how she was so upset she just had someone steal a scarf and she always knows when people are stealing. Then tried to play it off like she wasnt insinuting that by bringing up my boyfriends tattoos. But walked away and started talking about theifs in the store. I was really interested in a little nightstand outside to re-stain and put a cute handle on but i will NEVER be back and warn everyone else...

This place is like something out of the movies. The moment you step through the door it's like you've traveled backwards in time, to a time when you perhaps your parents were growing up, to a time now nearly forgotten, a time when life was simple and we did not have such high expectations and so many disappointment. You may feel like you're at the Museum, as your eyes gaze with pure excitement and amazement, taking in the fine details, all the time that must have went into collecting, organizing and then arranging all these beautiful things Under One Roof. This place is dense, but a veritable treasure trove. We walked in on a Sunday evening and asked how much longer they were open. The proprietor said "we're closing, but it takes me some time, please come on in!" So friendly, so welcoming.

So we didn't take too much time exploring every nook and cranny - but you absolutely could. Everywhere you turn, there is something interesting from some different era.
